    • rowan77 says:

It works fine now. They fixed it.

I wonder if the show got the idea for doing it acapella from that clip that came out a couple years ago of “How Will I Know” without the musical tracks attached. Just Whitney and the back-up singers. It showed how amazing Whitney’s voice was before she wrecked it with smoking and drug and alcohol abuse.

THIS IS SO GOOD! This is how I always wanted to hear Mercedes and Rachel together.

  25. Marcus says:

Thanks for this. These are literally the only characters on the show who’ve got any business singing Whitney to begin with.

  26. RachelA says:

Worked for me! And it was AMAZING!!! So good. Actually looking forward to this week now.

  27. sparkysparky says:

OMG SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOD. They look gorgeous together, and they should all just sing forever, and Amber sounds amazing, and Lea’s voice didn’t grate and Naya sounded lovely, and what I could hear of Chris didn’t disappoint and just. I don’t know what to do with myself. I’m looking forward to the songs now more than I have all season. Well, at least the ones these 4 are going to sing.

  28. Nina says:

Omg. This is AWESOME ! And Chris is so sexy and they are all fabulous ! :o ♥

  29. scar says:

  30. R says:

WOW. I’m actually blown away. Just when I was ready to give up on Glee and it’s music, they pull out a stunning arrangement like this one. Very, very well done.

    • hmm says:

Actually, I think this was inspired by a track that was found after Whitney Houston died…I heard a clip of her singing this song a capella on the radio a couple of weeks back.

      • wmjindsm says:

I have (had) a extended mix cassette tape for “I Want To Dance With Somebody” that had an acapella version of that song. I loved it without the music. I wonder if “How Will I Know” was released that way too on an extended mix.

        • Amanda says:

it was released as a capella on her 25th anniversary cd i think. i bought it on amazon after hearing this amazing arrangement and learning that it was almost identical to whitney’s version.

  31. Magui says:

OMG CHRIS COLFER!!! He need to sing in every episode! The number was great, every voice was amazing but Chris was just WOOOW

  32. Divine Intervention says:

OMG!! That was AMAZING! It made me want to cry! Beautiful….Whitney would be proud!

  33. JACK says:

Sooo good! Brought tears to my eyes.

  34. R says:

I’m so glad Santana is included in yet another number, I haven’t been sick of her for two seasons already or anything.

    • Teri says:

Character bias rearing it’s ugly head, I see. She can harmonize, the song sounds great, so shut up and just enjoy the music.

  35. SamyG says:

  36. Ariel says:

It does work, And this song is amazing, Lea hits the note so well.

  37. sup says:

    refresh the page, it’s working

  38. GBz says:

THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!! I loved it!!!!!

  39. Becca says:

I love it! They sound great! =D

  40. Selenia says:

this is too good to be actually true. I’m astonished by their voices, and Amber is flawless as usual!

  41. Charli says:

Wow. I am actually crying. Amazing.

  42. anthonynewhall says:

    Wow, that was incredible.

  43. Tia says:

    Boring performance but good vocals

    • yep says:

I almost always love Glee’s covers of songs but not this. I was unimpressed with the arrangement and acapella. These four have amazing vocals to be true but I cannot stand this arrangement. I didn’t like Rolling in the Deep with Rachel and Jesse acapella either. I am disappointed. Amber came very close to the level of Whitney and her soulful sound. Don’t care for the harmonies at all.

  44. starmaiden says:

    totally making cry

  45. lady.lightning says:

Is it me, or did that have a depressing, funereal quality to it? Don’t get me wrong, the song was amazing, but the beginning looks sad.

  46. Dee says:

When are they going to stop shoving Santana down our throat? They could’ve easily had Puck or Tina in her place. I like Naya’s voice – I just feel like she sings evey episode and it gets tiring now. She has duets with Brittany and Santana and a lead in a group number + this. Ugh.

    • Dee says:

      *Rachel. Excuse me. :)

      • Sasha says:

Can’t you just love the spin they did on it?

And I’m sorry I love Puck and Tina but Rachel has the better voice for what they were going for.

Puck would have been horrible in this

      • Kim says:

Except Rachel has sung in less episode that Blaine, Mercedes and Santana so far this this season. has had less solos than Blaine and Mercedes .

    • Sean C. says:

Tina, I agree could probably have sung it. What on Earth makes you think Puck could sing Whitney? His voice isn’t remotely suited to her music.

Besides which, Santana’s a major character and one of the four confirmed returning graduates, and appears to have a major story this episode. Her inclusion would presumably also relate to that.

    • Dean says:

Exactly, they could’ve put Tina in her place and she would’ve sound so much better. I think most people don’t even know how good Jenna is. I’ve heard her sing non-Glee stuff and she’s so good. Way beter than Naya. I don’t get how Puck fits into this though.

    • Guitarlover says:

You’re crazy. Naya has the best voice. She wa perfect in this song and all the others. Hater!

  47. Krista says:

    this is so beautiful

  48. Sydney says:

That was ridiculously amazing!!!! why can’t it be tuesday already!
