Nikita Exclusive: 24 Alum Suits Up as President

Cameron Daddo, who played 24‘s Season 7 veep, is now set to hang his hat in the Oval Office.

TVLine has learned exclusively that the Australian actor has booked a pivotal role on The CW’s Nikita, playing President of the United States Charles Grayson.

Details surrounding his appearance are being kept under wraps, but based on the fact that the dastardly Division is a rogue operation — one not even known about by the POTUS — it’s safe to say somethin’ is about to hit the fan.

What we can tell you is this: By the time the president is introduced (in Episode 22, titled “Crossbow”), Percy has upped his game in a major way and everyone — including Nikita — will be playing in the big leagues. (Inside Line has a bit more scoop on the Commander in Chief’s storyline.)

Daddo’s most recent TV credits include guest spots on Rizzoli & Isles, Leverage and The Mentalist.

  • He also played the lead in the TV adaptation of F/X. That was a cool show.

  • Power was a great episode! Keep’em comin’. Don’t even want to think about the possibility of no S3. Man, it would blow esp. after all the momentum the second half of S2.

  • I remember him from 24. Hardly a memorable character. Cameron Daddo also hosted that Mark Burnett reality show “Pirate Master” from several summers ago.

I hope the CW sees a bigger picture with Nikita. The ratings may not show it since it airs on Friday when most people don’t watch TV live, but people are watching the show and Nikita does have alot of fans. If the CW wants to avoid having the stigma of being a “girly” network and only producing shows for young girls, they should keep Nikita.

  • Can’t wait for Nikita to meet Mr. President. It is going to be awesome. And if we are lucky he will have a somewhat recurring role in season 3. Because there has to be a season 3!!!!!!
