“We’ve been chasing Leonard for years, and he finally gave up,” Big Bang cocreator Chuck Lorre recently told TVLine. “We caught him.

  • More’s the pity that he’s heard but not seen. Love the Nimoy! Respect to him for joining in the fun though.

  • They both look thrilled! I’m so happy for the show (and Sheldon) that Leonard Nemoy is appearing (even if it is only his voice).

  • Leonard Nimoy looks pretty good for 80, I’ll say. I know people in their 50′s that look much older.

  • Oh what an awesome photo! I am so happy that Leonard Nemoy agreed to do the show even if it’s just his voice. Hopefully this is not the only episode he does and that eventually he’ll appear in person. He can sit in a chair for the whole episode and fans would be thrilled beyond belief. Can you just imagine Sheldon’s reaction if he were to see Nemoy in person?!

  • Do you think Nimoy played Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Me?

  • This picture makes me think of the second season holiday episode where Sheldon is all “I have Leonard Nimoy’s DNA” and gives Penny a hug. Makes me smile.
