Get More: Casting News

Here’s a nice, juicy piece of casting to go with your fava beans and chianti: Hugh Dancy has landed a starring role in Hannibal, NBC’s contemporary series take on on the characters from Thomas Harris’ Red Dragon novel.

The project, written and exec produced by Pushing Diasies creator Bryan Fuller, centers on the budding relationship between FBI agent Will Graham (played by Dancy) and his mentor Dr. Hannibal Lecter – who are re-introduced at the beginning of their budding relationship.

Dancy, whose TV credits include The Big C and Elizabeth I, is currently starring on Broadway in Venus Fur.

  • I was really hoping it was a show about the Hannibal who brought elephants through the Alps. Oh well.

  • This design is incredible! You certainly know how to keep
a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my
own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than
that, how you presented it. Too cool!
