The TVLine-Up: TV Worth Watching This Tuesday

This Tuesday on TV: One Life to Live‘s top cop arrives at General Hospital, Fashion Star opens up its runway, prostitute problems plague Justified and Southland, and more. Here are 10 programs to keep on your radar.

3 pm General Hospital (ABC) Michael Easton brings his One Life to Live crime solver, John McBain, to Port Charles (yet sadly sans Natalie).

8 pm 90210 (The CW) | Adrianna and Dixon land a spot in a music festival, where Train performs and a record executive (guest star La Toya Jackson) offers Dixon a recording contract; Adrianna tells Liam her suspicions that Vanessa staged the near-drowning incident.

8:30 pm Cougar Town (ABC) | Jules and the gang decide Bobby needs help romancing Angie (guest star Sarah Chalke), so they launch Operation Kiss-the-Girl. 9 pm New Girl (Fox) | After Jess realizes that Schmidt is unfairly doing all of the housework, she pushes him to “go on strike,” thus throwing the entire ecosystem of the loft off balance.

9:30 pm Fashion Star (NBC) | Series premiere: 14 unknown designers have a chance to launch their collections in one of America’s largest retailers. And here’s the kicker — each episode’s winning designs will be available to purchase in stores the very next day. Elle Macpherson hosts alongside celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos

9:30 pm Breaking In (Fox) | When Veronica doesn’t approve of Contra’s annual contract to protect a lingerie company’s extremely valuable diamond-encrusted bra, the team goes behind her back to pull it off. (The mission, not the bra.)

10 pm Body of Proof (ABC) | As the team investigates a tragic car accident involving two young girls, they discover an awful mistake: the wrong girl was pronounced dead, plus the accident may not have been the actual cause of death. CSI: Miami‘s Khandi Alexander and Desperate Housewives‘ Steven Culp guest-star.

10 pm Justified (FX) | Raylan pursues a Dixie Mafia soldier who may be the key to taking down Quarles; Ava turns brutal in order to protect an imperiled prostitute.

10 pm Southland (TNT) | When Ben finds attempts to help the daughter of a prostitute, it lands him in hot water with the woman’s pimp; Tang faces more questions about the shooting, which could determine whether she gets promoted to sergeant.

    • Lani – you and I will be watching Switched at Birth. This show is so good. People need to start taking ABC Family seriously. It’s doing a pretty good job with original programming. However, I still miss Greek and 10 Things though.
