  • Sera Gamble should write herself into one of this season’s Monster Of The Week episodes. She’s certainly earnt it.

      • EARNT-Simple past tense and past participle of earn.
        Get it?

        • How old are you Dave?
The only people I know of who use earnt instead of earned are old biddies and Shakespeare.

          • It may comes as a shock, but the whole world doesn’t use the American spelling of words because the original is too hard for them. There are many who use the proper English spelling-which is earnt.

Well since I am from the UK, I can assure you “earnt” is archaic, whether you want to admit it or not. However, you’re free to use this form if you wish, just be aware that you sound like you’re 80 or a hipster.

          • I’m from the USA and the past tense of earn is earned.

          • I use earnt, but earnt and earned can be interchanged.
-ed at the end of a word can be enunciated as -t.

  • Is he related to Booth on Bones? The clown thing is overused.

    • actually, Supernatural did it first – they had a ‘Sam-being-afraid-of-clowns’ episode in the second series. if anyone is overusing it, it’s Bones.

  • Poor Sammy, he really is terrified of clowns.
Have we ever found out why?

  • This episode must be cool. It is kind of strange how Sam is afraid of a clown, and brave enough to fight the devil, but I guess that fears doesn’t make sense sometimes. I’m extremely excited for an eight season, I hope supernatural stays for three more seasons, and end it on the tenth season, just like Smallville.
