The X Factor‘s first and super-duper-sized live show is poised to set an all-time ratings high for the freshman reality competition.

On Tuesday night, the 150-minute songfest averaged 11.8 million total viewers while scoring a 4.3 demo rating. At minimum, that’s the show’s best numbers since its September bow, but once the final figures come in, Fox notes, X Factor is likely to surge past its record rating of 4.4.

  • I can’t get into Man Up. I liked Mr. Sunshine better & would rather be watching that.
And where the heck is Cougar Town? I’m definitely missing it!!

  • NCIS was great last night! Cheryl Ladd was amazing. My jaw dropped because I didn’t see it coming. Very rarely does the twist catch me by surprise. Last Man Standing was cute.

    • See, I kinda saw it coming. There were some odd looks during the dinner scene…

      • Me, too. The case felt very weak, and way too much time was given to Ducky’s love life, so I figured it had to figure in the case somehow. And since there really were no other suspects around, it had to be her.
I felt that it was one of its weaker episodes, actually.

    • I really enjoyed it, as well! Even though about 15 minutes in I bet by bf $10 that she was the killer. I loved when McGee, Ziva & Tony were comparing their “sources.”

  • I kind of saw it coming too, but I didn’t want to believe it. Poor Ducky. He should give McGee’s grandma another shot!

    • Cable ratings always come in much, much later, sometimes the second day after. But from what I hear, SOA did very well.

  • Glad about Body of Proof holding up and hope it won’t get cancelled. I think the show needs more zest with the characters, if you know what I mean, so far it is sort of slow in that department, but with great potentials! :)

  • Im so worry for Body Of Proof, because the Demo is low but the ratings are one of the highest ABC have, I think ABC will keep for the ratings I just hope the demo goes up, can anyone please explain to me how the demo works, like that whole 1.9 and 4.1, thanks.

    • Yeah, I’ve been hearing just about everywhere that it’s on the bubble and/or on the verge of getting axed. I guess I don’t understand how ratings work; viewer-wise, it really is one of ABC’s stronger drama performers(I know CASTLE beats it and ONCE UPON TIME opened strong but I kinda suspect it’ll shed viewers like PAN AM did, though maybe not to that extreme). I LOVE Dana Delany and while I’m tired of the whole boss-is-dating-my-ex/trying-to-replace-me-in-my-child’s-life retread EVERY week(not to mention the fact that these last few episodes seem to be backtracking content wise which makes me suspect they’re being aired out of order) I’m sticking with it as it’s still pretty enjoyable as a whole.

      • I can’t stand the storyline with Kate dating Megan’s ex. I mean really…you couldn’t find ANYONE else to date? It’s so unprofessional. The whole office would lose respect and that would cause major problems. I can’t stand that husband either. Like she said last season “I thought he had my back “.

  • Really worried about Body of Proof. I love this show and i really hope it can improve. 1.8 is what cancelled V last year and well it has cancelled a many more shows. I am just praying ABC keep it around because its not just watched in America you know!

  • Couldn’t get into Man Up. Not an interesting character in the group. Last Man Standing is also becoming unwatchable for me. It’s just not that funny. Tim Allen has done better.

  • I hear ya. Recorded both and watched today. Neither will stay on my dvr…just not funny.

  • Body of Proof must not get cancel, it’s a great show and Dana Delany is awesome, I hope it improves on the demos, and I think it has great crime and medical story but can use more drama on each person life on the show like show Megan dating, show lacy having trouble at school, show more of megan boss having trouble with her boyfriend and lacy.

  • I know I am in the minority here, but I actually find Man Up! to be quite HIGH-larious! I don’t have high hopes that it will last beyond the season, or even make it the whole season, so I am gonna enjoy it while it is on.

  • What did you do with the real Simon? This one is going overboard with the smiles, laughter, etc. It doesn’t seem genuine. Nicole is just too nice. She needs to be more constructive and realistic with her comments. Paula and LA seem on point except Paula seems to be harnessing the crazy that suits her so well.

  • Hope ABC better cancel MAN UP this week or next week ’cause this manly dreadful sitcom is way worse than HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN on CBS. Can’t wait for next week’s return of PARENTHOOD.
