Dexter Exclusive: Josh Cooke Joins Miami Metro's Geek Squad

Dexter is adding yet another TV vet to its Season 6 payroll.

The Showtime thriller has tapped Better With You‘s Josh Cooke to play the recurring role of Louis Greene, a new lab intern at Miami Metro and a buddy of fellow forensics nerd Masuka’s (C.S. Lee).

Spoiler Alert: Killer Dexter Intel

An insider describes Cooke’s character as a “computer genius and a bit arrogant about it.”

Cooke joins a veritable cavalcade of tube stars on the new season of Dexter. As previously reported, Battlestar Galactica‘s Edward James Olmos, Mad Men‘s Colin Hanks, Deadwood‘s Molly Parker, Off The Map‘s Aimee Garcia, and Light’s Out‘s Billy Brown have landed major recurring arcs.

  • I always thought Josh Cooke was the weak link on Better With You, but since this isn’t comedy, he might do a better job of it. Excited for Dexter to be back!

  • I feel like they’re repeating the same mistake as S5 and casting too many people. Or maybe every part is just being reported on.

  • I AM VERY HAPPY TO KNOW THAT JOSH COOKE WILL BE PART OF THIS GREAT TV SHOW. MR. COOKE IS A FAVORITE OF MY FAMILY AND WE WERE VERY BUT VERY UPSET WHEN “BETTER WITH YOU” WAS CANCELLED. THERE IS JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD. WELCOME BACK JOSH.
