  14. Meh. There’s only one kind of Winchester that interests me on Wednesday night and their initials are D & S. Not even a mention of Supernatural when it’s having it’s best episodes in years? Again, meh. It’s what to watch at 9 pm for me.

It is not the design of What to Watch to denote every new episode of every show on every night. Science simply won’t allow it. —Mgmt.

Nashville was just awful last week! All cliche soap stuff. Thank goodness they still have great music though. What is the latest on renewal? I plan to watch the rest of this season, but if it doesn’t improve, I hope it gets cancelled.

Chelsea (love that she has few filters… funny lady), Criminal Minds :BB (It’s okay, but I prefer Crossing Lines which didn’t take off here, but is doing well overseas), Empire (tho it’s becoming less and less “must see” TV for me – too much time on music instead of character development, and all that constant screaming and predictable things – Luscious screaming at Hakeem, Jamal, Andre, Cookie, various others; Cookie screaming at Luscious, Hakeem, Jamal, Andre, various others; Hakeem screaming at Luscious, Cookie, Andre, various others — they promise to be a family and 5 minutes later that plan is forgotten (sometimes less than 5 minutes). It’s just too predictable for me. The only reason I’ve been watching is Cookie. Taraji P. Henson is the best. And I’ll Chicago PD a try because of Philip Winchester. I haven’t gotten around to watching any of the Chicago franchises, but I’ve been a big Winchester/Stapleton fan since Strike Back so I’ll give it a try.

    and Supernatural, too, of course.

Underground is excellent. Looking forward to next year’s season. The Americans, of course. L&O SVU & Chicago PD, & Nashville, absolutely tomorrow via Hulu. Ok, if Drew is on Chelsea, will try it. And The Last Panthers, Sundance. John Hurt, Emily Watson. A new season of ‘Raiders on the Lost Art’ is on the Ovation channel, and Hulu. AND Season 5 of ‘A French Village,’ excellent French drama about one town during WWII on MHZ Choice. Stopped watching Empire this season, though really miss Cookie. Caught the amazing actress in a POI flashback episode this or last week, though. That was great.
