House Of The Dragon Season 2: Greens And Blacks Suit Up For War In Dragon-Tastic New Trailer

Time to choose sides, House of the Dragon viewers: Are you #TeamGreen or #TeamBlack?

To help you make your decision, HBO previously released dueling Season 2 trailers that herald the upcoming war between the Hightowers & Co. (aka The Greens) and Rhaenyra's side (aka The Blacks).

Now comes a third trailer (embedded above) that promises even more dragon-y goodness in the Game of Thrones prequel's highly anticipated return.

The newest promo, released Tuesday, also hints that perhaps Daemon isn't as #TeamBlack has you might think. "Do you accept me as your queen and ruler?" Rhaenyra pointedly asks him around the 1:16 mark, and... crickets!

House of the Dragon will kick off its sophomore run on Sunday, June 16, at 9/8c. The eight-episode season will be "jam-packed with emotional and visually exciting events" (per director Claire Kilner) and "very dark" (per executive producer/Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin).

The show's returning cast includes Emma D'Arcy, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Matthew Needham, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Rhys Ifans, Phoebe Campbell, Bethany Antonia, Jefferson Hall and Phia Saban.

They'll be joined by new cast members Gayle Rankin (GLOW), Simon Russell Beale (Penny Dreadful), Abubakar Salim (Raised by Wolves), Freddie Fox (Slow Horses), Clinton Liberty (Normal People), Jamie Kenna (Coronation Street), Kieran Bew (Warrior), Tom Bennett (After Life), Tom Taylor (The Bay) and Vincent Regan (Poldark).
