Pedro Pascal Is All Over Next Week's The Last Of Us — Watch Episode 6 Promo

Pedro Pascal showed up in the final moments of this week's The Last of Us, in a episode-ending flashback that saw him waking Ellie up in the morning in their shared house and saying, "Hey, kiddo." (Read a full recap.)

The interlude leads into next Sunday's episode (HBO, 9/8c), for which the premium cabler released a promo after this week's hour.

The brief glimpse at the upcoming installment shows a bunch of Joel-Ellie moments, some happy, some not-so-happy. At one point, Joel and Ellie walk in the woods with their guns drawn. "Remember what I taught you," he commands.

Aside from the scene at the end of this week's installment, Pascal has been absent from the series since his character, Joel, was beaten and stabbed to death by Abby in this season's second episode. The upcoming Episode 6 appears to be what co-showrunner Craig Mazin meant when he told TVLine "There's a good amount of Pedro and Bella together" this season "because we all want it."

He also mentioned that Season 2 ultimately will be, "in its conclusion, just very resonant. It gives you a lot to think about and also has a beautiful note of hope running through it."
