Cobra Kai Renewed for Season 4 at Netflix — Watch Teaser for Season 3
Netflix is keeping the dojo doors open, renewing Cobra Kai for a fourth season, TVLine has learned.
Additionally, the streaming giant has released a 30-second teaser for Season 3, which drops in its entirety on Jan. 8, 2021.
Set 30 years after the events of the first Karate Kid movie, this follow-up series continues the bitter rivalry between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. Per Netflix’s official synopsis, Season 3 “finds everyone reeling in the aftermath of the violent high school brawl between their dojos, which has left Miguel in a precarious condition. While Daniel searches for answers in his past and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance. The soul of the Valley is at stake, and the fate of every student and sensei hangs in the balance.”

Originally a YouTube Premium series, Cobra Kai was acquired by Netflix in June. The first two seasons of the Sony Pictures Television drama are currently available to stream.
Cobra Kai stars Ralph Macchio as Daniel, William Zabka as Johnny, Courtney Henggeler as Amanda, Xolo Maridueña as Miguel, Tanner Buchanan as Robby, Mary Mouser as Samantha, Jacob Bertrand as Eli, Gianni Decenzo as Demetri and Martin Kove as John.

How about showing us season 3 before talk of 4
I thought that was the deal as l from the get go. Being that season 3 was complete and sony thru in yr 1 and yr2 repeats. The new home was making yr 4, I guess yr 5 will now truely be on the books
They wanted to see how the first couple of seasons did on the platform before ordering a new one
season 3 had already been announced to a to be detrmined date but nothing beyond season 3
I FLOVE this show. I am in the middle of season two and it’s so well executed and the cast is awesome.
Can we please acknowledge how HOT William Zabka is? What has he been doing all these years?
I did not expect to like this series as I was not really into The Karate Kid movies but I am really enjoying it and rethinking Johnny Lawrence’s character.
He’s definitely hot. I saw an old interview with Ralph/William and he said that his kids call him uncle Ralph. It’s good that they remained friends after all of these years. That being said–Johnny still does lots of things that have me giving him the side-eye. I am glad we get to see his softer side with Miguel because as Daniel pointed out–he should be mentoring them. Part of the reason Eli took a turn down a dark path was based on what Johnny and then Kreese put into his head. He’s a teenager. He’s impressionable.
I love that the show demonstrates that both Johnny and Daniel have flaws. I don’t root for one over the other. I really hope that Daniel serves as the bridge to bring Johnny and Robby together.
Billy Zabka is definitely hot. I didn’t expect to like Johnny Lawrence so much. Btw…. Billy Zapka was on several episodes of How I Met Your Mother.
I hope they can get Elizabeth Shue on the show, eventually.

I agree. Very hot. I’d give him a shot. I’m excited for this season. Too bad Robbie cut his hair. Looks like a lot of good stuff coming. So many stories to tell as well as great character development. I hope it goes for even more seasons!

I didn’t think I’d like the show because I liked Karate kid but rest not so much but imo the show is better. I hated 2 didn’t go let us know what happened with Johnny or Ali so I’m hoping since s2 ending (not saying bc spoilers) that we’ll see everything come together. I’m just wondering if Ali does come back what will her and Amanda think of each other? Do we think they’ll be a wife vs ex gf brawl? Will Johnny finally get her? Etc. which I always wondered if Daniel knew she had a fb but nvr added her bc marriage why didn’t Johnny? He’s single was it bc she was married? Even if so u can just be friends

The people behind the show are doing a fantastic job of combining the nostalgic elements of the show with fresh plotlines and new characters that resonate with and further explore the themes of the original movies. Great job! Wish other writers-producers had done the same with some of the recent tv revivals, many of which were sadly unrecognizable from the original shows
My wife never saw Karate Kid Movies, but she loves the Cobra Kai series as much as I do. Highly addictive…

I hate that Robbie is in Jail, it was clearly an accident. Also, Sam needs to take responsibility. I hate how she made Robbie feel so guilty, I am sure if it was her she would feel like crap as well. She doesn’t deserve neither of these guys, she deserves to be single! I hope Robbie stays pure and good.
