Any scoop on Starz's Heels? Anything about Crystal?? –Victoria
When Season 2 (finally) kicks off on July 28, you will see that women of this world are in many ways leading the charge. Crystal (played by Kelli Berglund), now with a more prominent role in the DWL, will be dealing with the patriarchy in a controversial way, Willie (Mary McCormack) will steer the league's strategy in bold directions, and Staci (Alison Luff) will really hold Jake (Stephen Amell) to the fire this season.

Should we be worried that the Community movie delay will open a door for Donald Glover to drop out? — Sam
That was my first thought, given that the busy-busy Glover's involvement in the follow-up has already seemed a smidgen tenuous, but Joel McHale, when I relayed that concern, said, "I don't know" if Glover might now have a conflict, "but I don't think so, because everything is on hold" in Hollywood. "Maybe if [Donald] releases another multi-platinum album, then he'll be on tour — but maybe we'll just do the movie on his tour. We'll shoot it on the buses!"

Is the Greg Berlanti pilot More still in development at Max? –Austin
I checked with multiple sources, but no one had updates to share at this time.

Dead City, Aurora Teagarden and More

I'm very curious about The Walking Dead: Dead City (premiering June 15 on AMC+, June 18 on AMC). What brings and keeps Negan and Maggie together? And are other characters we know at least name-checked? –D.K.
As we previously reported, the frenemies — if even at this point we can call them that — are reteamed in an effort to retrieve Maggie and ill-fated husband Glenn's son Hershel (now recast with the older Logan Kim) from a villain called the Croat (Damages vet Željko Ivanek). Why is Negan so essential to this operation? The Saviors' former leader has, ahem, history with the baddie. As for other characters being name-checked, fear not — the past looms large over the characters' present... and may even dictate their future.

Can you tell me where I can stream Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Something New? –Deb
If you are not able to catch the Skyler Samuels-led prequel movie this Friday at 9/8c on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, it will be streamable for three days (Saturday through Monday) on Hallmark TV, affiliate VOD platforms (e.g. Comcast, Spectrum, etc.) and Peacock.

Amazon has been very silent about Season 2 of Them. Can you find out will we see the new season? –John
I asked around for you, but there are no updates to be had right now.

Good Trouble 'Festivities,' MIA CW Series

Will Callie be back on Good Trouble next season? –Abby
If you've been keeping an eye on Maia Mitchell's Instagram, then you've probably gathered that Callie and her fiancé Jamie (played by Beau Mirchoff) will be making another appearance during the second half of Season 5. So when we spoke to Mirchoff about his Hallmark series Ride, we also had to ask if we're heading for a Good Trouble wedding. "I can say there's a lot of festivities and worlds colliding...," he teased.

Two Sentence Horror Stories hasn't aired on The CW since 2022. Any word on what happened to it? – Siddharth
I can confirm, to the surprise of perhaps no one, that the anthology series will not be returning to the "new" CW. Which is sad, because I was rooting for them to maybe finally add a proper hyphen to the title.

What's going on with Murder by the Book with Retta? –Lauren
The Murder, She Wrote-esque series is still in the pilot stage at NBC, I am assured.

NBC Scheduling, Disney Fare and More

Whatever happened to NBC getting rid of the 10 o'clock hour? –Rod
It looks like things may have changed since that August 2022 report. As Jeff Bader, President of Entertainment Program Planning Strategy for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, told me recently, "As far as we're concerned, we are laying out schedules for the future that include the 10 o'clock hour."

Any word on if Baking It will be back this year? Or if Making It could return? –KLK
I can confirm that Baking It will be back... in a manner of speaking — meaning, that Season 2 (which streamed in December on Peacock) will be airing on NBC this summer, starting Saturday, July 15 at 8 pm. For Making It, I have zero updates, sorry! Just a handful of sequins, Velcro and hot glue.

I am concerned about the current state of two shows, Secrets of Sulphur Springs and Saturdays, which both recently had their season finales. And a recent tweet from Disney Channel kind of suggests that Saturdays is over. Are you able to reveal anything? –Eva
A rep for the show makes clear that said tweet was simply referring to the season finale. And since both shows, as you said, only recently ended, there is no word just yet on possible renewals.

Walker Season 4, TV's New Superman

Anything on Walker to tide us over until... who knows when! –Cathy
Well, it looks like there could be a connection between two Season 3 finale cliffhangers. As star/EP Jared Padalecki told TVLine before the writers' strike, "We started talking about what the relationship might be between Witt and the park ranger who we ran into during James' bachelor party, and how they might know each other, whether or not they have some connections with the Jackal, the cold case that's being reopened.... We played around with a bunch of ideas, and once the writers make the deal with the AMPTP and we get back into storytelling, that's one of the fun parts of the season, trying to put that LEGO puzzle together."

My Adventures With Superman looks cute! How many episodes is the season? –Lily
Season 1 of the animated HBO Max-turned-Adult Swim/Max series has 10 episodes.

Fire Country Triangle, La Brea Rumor and More

Any scoop on Fire Country Season 2? –Ed
With Bode back in the hoosegow and his and Gaby's plans thus abruptly put on hold, one might think that Olympic medalist Kyle (played by The Rookie's Kanoa Goo) might have a chance to "dive" back into Gabriela's love life. But cast member Stephanie Arcila told me after that eventful Season 1 finale, "I think what Gabriela will do right now is take some space. I don't think she would jump into something right away. Even in a moment in her life where she has no control over everything that's happening, she will do her best."

Did Natalie Zea, Jack Martin and Veronica St Clair leave La Brea? None of them went to Australia to film Season 3. –Cari
I can assure you that all three original cast members are back for Season 3 of NBC's timey-wimey drama, which films both Australia and in Los Angeles.

Ham's boyfriend Crispin on The Great North sounded different in last few episodes. Is this a permanent change, or has Julio Torres just been busy? I miss his more subdued take on the character. –Geoff
You have good ears! Juan Castana has been voicing Crispin since the middle of Season 3.
