Any 11th-hour tease for The Boys finale? This season has been on fire. –Julia
Let me first double-check the list of 22 things I am not allowed to reveal…. Hmm. Well. Um. I can say that… there’s a great/incongruous needle drop from the Flashdance soundtrack. There’s a slugfest match-up that you perhaps are not expecting. And the closing, chilling image will give your goosebumps goosebumps.
Anything new on The Orville? I’ve been loving Season 3. –Craig
Actually, during my latest chat with Seth MacFarlane, he revealed that on the guest casting front, Christopher Larkin aka The 100‘s Monty appears in the same episode (airdate TBD) as Eliza Taylor (whom he said is “fantastic’), “so fans of The 100 will get a little reunion there.”
When the new season of What We Do in the Shadows opens, what’s the status of Guillermo and Nandor’s relationship after being away from each other for so long? –Christine
Though a full year has passed, Nandor returns to Staten Island still a bit peeved that Guillermo stood him up at the train station (unaware that his familiar had been shoved into a crate bound for Europe!). Guillermo, meanwhile, is happy enough to see Nandor, but very angry with Laszlo and Nadja. Maybe the care of Not Baby Colin Robinson will distract everyone from their grudges?

Image Credit: Netflix I heard a rumor that Virgin River‘s Doc is gonna die at the end of Season 4. How much do I need to be worried? –Lucy
Between the mystery surrounding the arrival of his estranged grandson… Hope’s ongoing cognitive struggles… and the general stress of running the only clinic in town, sure, Doc has plenty on his plate in Season 4. But is dying on his extremely crowded to-do list? As Nashville‘s Juliette Barnes would say, don’t throw dirt on his grave just yet.Any word on Season 2 of either Firefly Lane or Ginny & Georgia? In production, wrapped, release dates? -Ash
Sarah Chalke and Katherine Heigl’s Firefly Lane has completed filming its second season and is now in post production, I am hearing. Similarly, Ginny & Georgia has wrapped filming and maybe, just maybe, will hit your screens by the end of 2022. Maybe. -
Image Credit: The CW Is there any chance for The Flash‘s Natalie Dreyfuss to become a series regular in Season 9? She’s always so great as Sue. –Joseph
Showrunner Eric Wallace told me to expect “no cast promotions” heading into Season 9, “but as we start to formulate stories, I’m open to seeing as many of the characters from Season 8 as we can fit in.”Is Sometimes I Lie with Sarah Michelle Gellar still in the works? –Sam
No, neither Sometimes I Lie (which was based on the novel of the same name by Alice Feeney) nor the dramedy Other People’s Houses are still in development at Fox — superseded as they were by SMG’s similarly nixed Prime Video pilot, Hot Pink.I was disappointed when Endgame was cancelled. It started slow, but the intrigue built up through the later eps. Is there any chance it’ll be picked up to stream online? –Susan
Alas, there is no possible fairytale ending for this one. I am told the series is not being shopped around. -
Image Credit: Netflix screenshot Do you have any idea what exactly Vecna will be up to in Stranger Things 5? Like, what’s his agenda? –Thomas
To hear portrayer Jamie Campbell Bower tell is, Henry aka 001 aka Vecna is out to make the world “1,000 times better,” no matter what it takes. “His experience has led him to this point of believing — actually, knowing, not necessarily believing — that people present a falsity and this world is just full of liars,” says the actor. “He really wants to change that for the greater good.”Anything on Animal Kingdom and if the boys are in for big surprises regarding all these new characters? –Ana
It wouldn’t be Animal Kingdom if they weren’t, now would it? What I can tell you for sure is that a few of the new faces feature prominently in this Sunday’s episode of the TNT drama, which also reveals whether the Codys are able to pull off their theft of Eddie Pham’s jewelry from the fancypants party that singer Brock Fellows is throwing for his girlfriend. In addition, Pope goes way out on a limb — and into his past — in hopes of brightening his future. -

Things are going well-ish for Danny and Lexi when Season 2 picks up some four months later, so of course there will be some flies in the ointment. “We’re going to meet someone important from Danny’s past” — Kate, played by Pour toujours, plus un jour‘s Victoria Diamond — “who is the daughter of Jacob Reece,” says co-showrunner Matthew Federman. “And we’re going to meet someone important from Lexi’s past (Violet, played by Mortal Kombat: Legacy’s Michelle Lee), who was basically her partner in crime.”What can be teased for season 3 of Walker? –Alex
“We’re really excited to explore learning some things about Cordell Walker that we never knew, and seeing his family in a new light,” showrunner Anna Fricke tells TVLine. “Season 2, we sort of focused on Cordell taking care of other people and sacrificing for them. Season 3, we are looking back into what happens when Walker’s past comes back to haunt him, because he does have a very complicated history, and it does follow him and it affects his family — but they’re in a different boat than they were a couple of years ago. People have grown up and people have learned some lessons, so I’m really excited about pushing the characters to their limits to see how they really react under fire.”Want scoop on a favorite show?
