I was very excited when I heard Jensen Ackles was joining the cast of ABC's Big Sky. But now I'm disappointed that there haven't been many scenes between him and Kylie Bunbury's Cassie. Do you have any Beau/Cassie spoilers for upcoming episodes? –Kira
As a matter of fact, EP Elwood Reid tells Inside Line, "Not only does the connection between Beau and Cassie continue to deepen throughout the season, but Beau will also play a crucial role alongside Cassie as they untangle a key element of the Bleeding Heart Killer mystery. Stay tuned."
I am loving Shantel [VanSanten] as Nina on FBI. She's been a breath of fresh air. Any chance we can keep her after Missy's return?? –Lesley
Those curious about Nina's status with the team should keep an eye on that special Sunday episode of CBS' second-most watched drama, airing Nov. 6....
What's in store for Station 19's Robert Sullivan? Will he finally get some redemption or promotion? –Moozanna
Sullivan, as you may have thus far gleaned, is focusing on his work at the station — but as will become increasingly clear, he still isn't ready to let go of the past.
What can we expect for Station 19's Maya Bishop? –Kat
Maya's ambitions, of course, have a way of interfering with her personal life — and the current state of her relationship with Carina has been no exception. Whether their marriage and hopes of growing their family will manage to prevail... is to be seen.
Any chances of more, old characters returning to Grey's Anatomy this season? –Pooja
As suggested by this week's Jesse Williams and Greg Germann news, "Absolutely," says showrunner Krista Vernoff. As she explained, "It's a big challenge to — not 'say goodbye' to Meredith Grey, but say 'see you later'" given Ellen Pompeo's limited presence this season. "We've got a tremendous cast, but that's a big loss. So how do you fill that void? It's unfillable, but we've peppered delightful surprises throughout the season to try to fill a little tiny bit of that space."
Longtime reader, first-time emailer, looking for anything on my new favorite, CBS' Fire Country. –Lianna
Bode is about to catch the eye of a fellow, female inmate firefighter (played by Stumptown's Fiona Rene) — a bigtime lawyer who got sentenced for drunk driving and ended up at Three Rock.
Are there any ideas or plans for additional Walker spin-offs? –T.C.
"With our Walker world, so many of our characters deserve a show of their own," star/executive producer Jared Padalecki says. "With Independence as well, there are just so many characters I'm so curious about. And so as both series progress, I very much look forward to exploring more. One of the wonderful things that the writers have done on Walker, especially because we've had more time, is to have episodes that are heavy with Stella, or with August, or with Trey, or with Cassie, or with Liam, or with Bonham and Abby. They're really fleshing out not just my character, but every character, and I think our intention is to continue that. So we don't currently have another spinoff in the works, but we are certainly open-minded, and we constantly chat about ideas."
Any scoop on The Winchesters? –Hal
The Supernatural prequel's' Men of Letters HQ will hold some surprises for the Scooby gang and viewers, alike. "Much like the Men of Letters bunker in the mothership show, we're going to reveal some secrets in that clubhouse, as well, in a similar fashion, which is going to be fun to unpack for the audience," showrunner Robbie Thompson teases.
Any word on if we'll get an NCIS: LA Christmas episode this season? –McKenzie
There was no mention of the procedural in CBS' recent blast about Christmastime fare, and I have since confirmed that, alas, its viewers won't get one this year.
Any news on whether Nate Getz will return in NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 and help Callen recover some of his repressed memories? –Diddy
Ugh, I hate bearing the bearer of bad news twice in a row. But nope, no plans at this time for another visit from Peter Cambor.
Any scoop on Amara and Marcus in Season 2 of All American: Homecoming? –Patrick
Generally speaking, the spinoff's sophomore run will include a "mess" of love triangles, with showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll adding, "We've got some doozies where love lives are concerned, and it's just been so fun to do." When asked specifically about Amara and Marcus, though, she was slightly more cagey. "The only thing I can share is that the adults' love lives are just as messy as the kids'," Carroll hints.
Do you have any scoop on Season 13 of Blue Bloods? –Esmerelda
When I asked showrunner Kevin Wade if we might get another visit from Detective Angela Reddick (played by Godfather of Harlem's Ilfenesh Hadera) — she who almost joined Sid's "Three Musketeers" in Season 12 — he said, "Very possibly." "She is a terrific actress," Wade added, while Reddick as a character is "very enigmatic in a way that is really, really useful. So yes, I imagine we will bring her back. [Executive producer] Brian Burns wrote that character originally, and then brought the actress back because she was so good. So if he's not thinking of it, he will be now."
With what's currently going on at Warner Bros. Discovery, is there any word on the statuses of TBS' The Cube and Wipeout? – Jordan
I am hearing that both series are due to return to TBS, though there are no specifics to share at this time.
Hello! I would love a scoop on Criminal Minds: Evolution! –L.
Not a "scoop" per se, but I never got around to sharing this concerning tease from showrunner Erica Messer, who said that in Paramount+'s ersatz Season 16 (premiering on Thanksgiving Day), we'll be "seeing Rossi in a new light" — and not the greatest one, either. "We wanted to honor this journey of grief that a lot of people have been through, certainly since we've last seen them, and we put that burden onto Rossi's shoulders," Messer explained. And as a result, "Joe [Mantegna] beyond delivers an emotional roller coaster with Rossi."
Is there any word if NBC has picked up the third season of Transplant? — Russell
As will come as zero surprise to anyone who has kept track of Inside Line's previous updates on this topic, the final prognosis is no, NBC will not be airing Season 3 Stateside, I can confirm.
As a big fan of Gini (Gigi/Dani) on The L Word: Generation Q, I'm worried about their status since Gigi's actress, Sepideh Moafi, has seemed to be anywhere but on set. Any insight? –Shay
I wouldn't worry too much, seeing as Moafi returned as a series regular for Season 3 of the Showtime drama (premiering Nov. 18).
