WILL & GRACE

The sitcom's second series finale (airing this spring) will be far less polarizing than its first, predicts leading man Eric McCormack. "The original [2006] finale was a clever trick where [Will and Grace] stopped talking to each other, and then it jumped ahead in the future... 15 or 20 years," the actor notes. "I liked it. A lot of people didn't. This time, I think we have an ending that fans are going to love across the board. It's the ending everybody deserves." Asked to tease the episode's last scene, the Emmy winner responds, "My friend, Joe, saw the final taping and he said, 'Oh my God, they gave you a Mary Tyler Moore moment.'" So... Will is going to toss his hat into the air? "No," McCormack states. "The last moment of the Mary Tyler Moore Show. I'm not going to say what that is. People are going to have to look it up." (I'll save you the hassle, folks: The Mary Tyler Moore show ended with the gang leaving the newsroom, with Mary hanging back to turn off the lights.)

THE RESIDENT

We've got good news for Mina/AJ 'shippers! The Chastain docs could be on the verge of a relationship by the time Season 3 ends. "We know where they end up at the end of this season, which is an interesting place; they could possibly be together for the first time," series co-creator Amy Holden Jones reveals. "That question will go into the next season." What's more, the show plans to introduce a new love interest for Mina in the coming weeks, but Jones confesses, "I don't know how far she'll go with him, as she realizes she's really in love with AJ."

'Shameless' Final Season 11

SHAMELESS

Showrunner John Wells says the "overarching theme" of the 11th and final season is, simply put, family. Teases the EP: "As [the Gallagher kids] start to have their own relationships and their own families, how do they balance the needs of those families and the opinions of those people who are now their spouses or significant others' partners? How do you balance what your original family needs with your new family? How do you integrate them all? It's hard to do, and it's hard to do well, and I think we're going to spend a lot of time exploring those issues."

GREY'S ANATOMY

Though the ABC medical drama loves prescribing its couples breakups, one isn't in store for "Schmico," at least not yet. "Levi is still madly in love with Nico," says Jake Borelli, who plays Schmitt. Though Dr. Kim is Schmitt's first boyfriend, "if Levi could, he would be with Nico forever." Or at very least until the Thursday, Feb. 20, episode of the ABC drama, in which the erstwhile Glasses is hurt to learn that his beau doesn't want to introduce him to his parents. Hey, we said a breakup wasn't in store yet!

SCHITT'S CREEK

Though Alexis and Ted seem to be making the most of their Skype sessions to keep their romance "Galapagoing," I can't deny that the glimpse of Alexis crying on her dad's shoulder (see above) from the from the Season 6 trailer has me a little worried about the couple's happy-ending prospects. And, in next Tuesday's episode, "The Wingman" (Pop TV, 9/8c), the sweethearts have an unusually frank conversation about their short-term future that just might have long-term ramifications.
