And when she later tells him, "Damn, that's bleak as hell, baby," he instantly counters, "Well, you're beautiful." Sigh.

Randall's imitation of his wife earlier in the hour is great, but her imitation of him after he gets waaaay ahead of himself in refurbishing the apartment building is a thing of beauty. OK, technically Beth isn't in the scene where an incensed Randall visits Deja's mother in prison, but she's referenced so glowingly in it, we'll make an exception. "Don't get it twisted, sis," he says after Shauna assumes his wife is white. "I wake up every morning next to a head scarf and coconut oil. I'm married to a black queen — not that it's any of your business."
