Season 4 will revisit the time after the newly paired Jack and Rebecca return to Pittsburgh after visiting California, Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia tell TVLine. But even though their road trip is over, the couple still might encounter a bump or two. “Tell me about your courtships, tell me about your romances. They’re not all well-paved roads,” Ventimiglia says. “Sometimes you’ve got bedrock and some stone cobble under asphalt. You’ve got to burn a few tires to fill the holes.” Coming off Jack’s breakdown in the car, Moore adds, “Rebecca is having to swallow that there’s going to be part of this person that she loves that she won’t be able to talk about. That’s an interesting place to begin a relationship.”
THE NIGHTS ARE LONG, BUT THE WEEKS ARE SHORT
Baby Jack “will be five months when we get back,” Chrissy Metz says, indicating that there’ll be a slight time jump from the Season 4 finale.
Those who enjoyed watching Susan Kelechi Watson dance as Beth rediscovered her passion in “Our Little Island Girl” have something to look forward to this season: The actress tells TVLine that, “I don’t know much right now. I only know we’re moving to Philly and that I’m gonna be dancing.” When pressed, she hinted that this season’s style of movement “might not be ballet.”
KEVIN’S A-HA GOO-GOO-GA-GA MOMENT
After having broken up with Zoe upon realizing that she truly doesn’t want to have children, Kevin will be “very excited” to spend a lot of time with his infant nephew Jack, Justin Hartley previews. “We’re starting to see this love Kevin has for children of all ages, babies and his nieces and nephews. It’s not his first time around, so we’re starting to see how he sees himself… in that role as a father, perhaps?”
THE PEARSONS TAKE PHILADELPHIA
