The notes that this 20-year-old hit — and, more impressively, held! — during her performance of Morgane and Chris Stapleton's "You Are My Sunshine" were so massive, it's a wonder her Blind Audition didn't have to be relocated to a bigger venue.
the voice cory jackson
6. Cory Jackson (Team Blake)
Blessed with matinee-idol looks and a voice that doesn't quit, this 24-year-old distinguished himself from his country competitors by giving his energetic cover of Glen Campbell's "Galveston" a theatrical flair that would've made it a hit on Broadway as easily as at the Grand Ole Opry.
the voice joana martinez
7. Joana Martinez (Team Blake)
So powerful, polished and emotion-packed was this Miami 15-year-old's version of The Weeknd's "Call Out My Name" that even John Legend, the only coach who didn't turn his chair for her, had no choice but to call the performance "near-perfect."
the voice katie kadan

It was hard not to think that The Voice had saved the best for... well, first when, seconds into Season 17, this self-proclaimed "chubby chick livin' in a skinny girl's world" blew the doors off the auditorium with her explosive cover of "Baby I Love You."
the voice khalea lynee
4. Khalea Lynee (Team Legend)
Though she's older than the last couple of Voice winners combined, this four-chair-turner laced so much sunshine into her pitch-perfect version of "Best Part" that it was easy to imagine her overcoming the show's tendency to skew young.
the voice marybeth byrd
2. Marybeth Byrd (Team Legend)
This small-town 18-year-old not only sang "Angel From Montgomery" with a clarity that had to have made bells envious, she threw into her performance what Gwen called a "crazy cute rasp" and made her coach's prediction that she'd go the distance sound like a foregone conclusion.
the voice preston c howell
5. Preston C. Howell (Team Legend)
A velvet-voiced Michael Bublé-in-the-making, this 14-year-old turned all four of the coaches' chairs by covering the Mamas & the Papas' "Dream a Little Dream of Me" with the poise and panache of a singer twice, three, four times his age.

3. Ricky Duran (Team Blake)
This genre-bending showman's raspy rendition of Leon Bridges' "River" was so confident and full of feeling that he not only earned himself a four-chair turn, he received a standing ovation from the coaching panel.

8. Rose Short (Team Gwen)
Auditioning with Coach Legend's "Preach," this former corrections officer didn't just show us that she was blessed with a presence that's, ahem, arresting, she demonstrated that she had a range that was expansive enough for two singers.
The Voice Max Boyle Season 17
10. Max Boyle (Team Legend)
This 23-year-old Toledo native's spot on the list was a given from the moment he kicked off his rendition of Ed Sheeran's "Wayfaring Stranger" with a breathtaking acapella during which he bent notes as easily as Superman does steel bars.
