Though Jeff Davis can’t say exactly how much Stiles we’ll get in the final 10, he can confirm that Dylan O’Brien will appear in “several episodes” of Season 6B — including the July 30 premiere.
Fans will get their first glimpse of Tyler Hoechlin’s bushy-browed character in the Season 6B premiere, and Davis promises that “we’ll see him again — not just in the series finale.”
Just as the actor teased on Twitter back in December, Scott’s dad will return to Beacon Hills to take part in the final battle. (Need futher proof? Look no further than this photo of Agent McCall packing all kinds of heat in the Season 6B trailer.)
When it comes to Scott’s former flames, Davis says, regrettably, “We won’t be seeing either of them in the final 10. We had this long list of people that we wanted to have back, and difficult decisions had to be made, unfortunately.” (Oh, Crystal Reed, at least we’ll always have Gévaudan.)
Again, Davis can’t get into too many specifics about these characters’ long-awaited returns, so let’s just hear how Charlie Carver felt about returning to set: “I was, like, time traveling back to happy days. … Everybody came back because they wanted to see each other and work togther again.”
I know — this isn’t the Argent I wanted back, either. Hopefully Scott & Co. will put him in the ground before the season’s over. Amen?

It’s true: Liam will be flying solo in the series’ final 10 episodes. “It was hard enough to get [Victoria Moroles] back for the last episode of 6A,” Davis admits. “She was off doing a movie, which proved to be a major scheduling challenge. … But it’s another great person from our cast who’s transitioned into having more acting opportunities, so we’re all very happy for her.”
Look, you’re going to meet a lot of new people in the summer premiere. Some of them are good guys, some of them less so. But they’re all hot, so just have a good time, OK?
