WHAT WE KNOW: Top of her class at Quantico, killed her father (whom she later found out was an FBI agent), spent a decade in India, has at least one contact from that time who was responsible for a bombing in Bangladesh, FBI agent in the present, ran afoul of classmates for surveiling them in effort to find bomber

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW: What she was up to during the year she was MIA in India, why the spot where she was found in the Grand Central rubble wasn't near her assigned duty area, who kidnapped her from a "blindspot" on the morning of the bombing, why she can't come up with a better disguise than pulling her jacket's hood up

WHAT WE KNOW: Did two tours with the Marines, pretended to be a recruit when he was actually a full-fledged FBI agent on assignment, took the fall for an FBI op — headed up by Liam — gone wrong in Chicago, involved with Nathalie and Alex at one point or another, was married to Hannah Wyland (who was also his FBI partner)

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW: What actually happened in Chicago, who shot him in Alex's apartment, how he got so cozy with Resting Scar Face (aka Nathalie); how he's ever going to recover from the trauma his obliques have taken (see also: gunshot, HIG interrogator's fingers) during the course of this show

WHAT WE KNOW: Caleb's dad, Deputy Director of the FBI, didn't want his son to join the Bureau, married to a Democratic senator who's a former FBI agent, in charge of the Grand Central bombing investigation, has had a romantic relationship with Shelby, was a few blocks away from bombing when it happened, has a contentious relationship with Caleb, died in second bombing

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW: Pretty much everything — including where the Haas men get their tractor-beam-like ability to attract the comely Ms. Wyatt

WHAT WE KNOW: Veteran FBI agent who's teaching at Quantico thanks to Miranda pulling some strings, drinks too much, botched a terrorism investigation with Alex's father in Omaha that led to hundreds of deaths, botched a terrorism investigation with Alex's father that led to hundreds of deaths (and then covered it up), at some point falls in love with Alex, heads up the Bureau's investigation of the Grand Central bombing

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW: The details about pretty much everything related to him, including whether he has ever — in the entire time we've known him — told the truth; whether he and Alex hooked up on New Year's Eve in the Quantico timeline

MIRANDA SHAW

WHAT WE KNOW: Assistant director of Quantico, has a son who was approached online by members of a terrorist group and drew up a plot to blow up his school (though he claims he didn't do it), was romantically involved with Liam, believes Alex is innocent, not afraid to flip a transport van in the name of justice, stabbed by someone in her home (though it likely wasn't her MIA son)

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW: Exactly what went down between her and Liam, how much she knows about Liam's plans for Alex

WHAT WE KNOW: Twin sister of Raina, prefers not to wear the traditional Muslim headscarf, isn't very religious, infiltrated terrorist group The Islamic Front working with twin sister Raina, was at Grand Central days before attack, did a shady quick change/ditched a car at an Ohio gas station* before starting at Quantico, FBI agent in the present

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW: What exactly she was up to in the days she spent at the terrorist house/missing her check-ins, how she managed to get so close to the terrorist leader

*This may have been Raina, but we really don't think so.

WHAT WE KNOW: Twin sister of Nimah, more religious than her sister, prefers to wear the traditional Muslim headscarf, like-likes Simon, FBI agent in the present

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW: What caused falling-out between the twins and Simon after Quantico, why she and Nimah stopped communication with the FBI during their opp, whether she is aware of Nimah's Ohio car-switch and whatever it entails, how close she really is to the terrorist leader she was later seen visiting in the hospital

WHAT WE KNOW: Former Texas border cop, wears a fake scar behind one ear, has a 4-year-old daughter (and a bad situation with the kid's father), faked a scar-causing injury to get a restraining order against her daughter's father, dating Brandon, sees Alex as her main competition at Quantico, an FBI agent who has a romantic relationship with Ryan in the present but didn't mind turning him in when she realized he was working to clear her former rival's name, was (seemingly) used by terrorist to coerce Alex into cooperating

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW: What's up with that scar? And why the constant 'tude?

WHAT WE KNOW: Lawyer who gave up promising job to become an analyst trainee, was recruited by Clayton Haas, openly gay, first person to figure out that Simon wasn't who he said he was, messed around with Simon's "boyfriend" Max, freaked out during bomb test and subsequently left the program, later becomes Alex's lawyer when she turns herself in to the FBI, was forced to kidnap Alex and be an integral part in Grand Central bombing, later commits suicide by jumping out a window just before second bombing

WHAT WE DON'T KNOW: What became of him after leaving Quantico, Why he chloroformed Simon

WHAT WE KNOW: Family has money, dating Natalie, staged a breakdown/bomb-planting under Miranda's orders as part of the academy's big test, father is a politician
