WILL KANAN MAKE AN APPEARANCE?

50 Cent's Kanan likely won't be part of Season 6 — the character died in a police shootout in Season 5 — but 50 Cent did direct Episode 3 of the series' upcoming swan song, which the muliti-talented rapper has said will contain "one of the wildest scenes ever" on Power. "He had really specific things in mind to tell me when I was with the gang," Sikora told TVLine about his boss' debut behind the camera. "He would give these really great, specific directorial notes that were really effective."

ANGELA'S FATE

As showrunner Courtney A. Kemp said after the Season 5 finale, Lela Loren's character will be a part of Season 6... even though Assistant U.S. Attorney Angela Valdes took a bullet in the chest in the episode's last minutes. "I can say Lela is in Season 6, but I can't say what she's doing," the EP told TVLine last year.

WHO'S BACK?

THAT SAID, THE STORY CONTINUES

Though the original series will end after Season 6, Starz announced in October that Kemp was working on multiple potential spinoffs of the crime drama. At the time, Kemp said that future series would "follow some of your beloved Power characters beyond the scope of the initial series" — but not necessarily in the way you'd expect.

THE NEW BIG BAD?

Tariq very well might be Season 6's villain. When TVLine asked Kemp whether the teen had the potential to be a Dre-level bad guy in the coming season, she replied with a simple "Yup."

TOMMY AND... ANGELA?!

Not like that! Season 6 will give viewers a sense of Tommy in his youth, "who he was in the neighborhood to Angela and her family. There's a little bit of backstory that we get in there."

IT'S DEFINITELY DONE

Even though one of 50 Cent's recent Instagram posts suggested that he'd "decided not to end Power," the network assures TVLine that the original series will come to an end with the Season 6 finale.

LOOSE ENDS

Season 5 ended without answering several salient questions pertaining to Bailey Markham's laptop, Maria Suarez and the location of Terry Silver's body (RIP). In addition, Kemp said, "Angela saw Tommy shoot her. So, I don't know: What happens to you when you shoot somebody in law enforcement, usually?"

NEW SHOWRUNNER

Executive producer Gary Lennon, who has been with the series since Season 2, served alongside Kemp as co-showrunner for the final run. "Gary is a brilliant storyteller, a fantastic director and one of my favorite people I've ever worked with," Kemp said via statement when he was promoted. "I'm excited to collaborate with him on this next season of Power and hope to work with him on multiple projects for years to come."
