We know that Season 15 will find Owen torn between not only two lovers but the foster family he has with one (Amelia) and the biological family he’ll soon have with the other (Teddy). And that’s fine with us — if and only if the show treats the characters like the grownups they are (as it did with Mer/Nathan/Megan) rather than the teenagers they’re not (as it did with Mer/Nathan/Maggie).
Visits From April
Since Sarah Drew’s Cagney & Lacey reboot wasn’t picked up, the actress is for the time being free to guest-star as Kepner. And if Jackson is really going to move heaven and earth to find religion in Season 15, shouldn’t his devout ex-wife pop up occasionally to ensure that he has a prayer of succeeding?
A Return for Nick
We know — Scott Speedman only agreed to do one episode. We’re still holding out (a smidgen of) hope that he’ll relocate Dr. Marsh to Seattle, Grey Sloan and Mer’s bed. And if he doesn’t, it’s our fondest wish that Grey’s new guy get a better introduction than Nathan, whom we were told from the start to dislike and whose initial hookup with Mer made as much sense as recommending stitches to cure the common cold.
A ‘Jolex’ Baby
Viewers have earned the chance to see Alex and Jo happy as much as the couple has earned the chance to be happy. So the last thing we want is for them to be rushed through their hard-won honeymoon period. However, were Season 15 to at some point include a positive pregnancy test, we’d be psyched to look forward to the newlyweds rising to the occasion and becoming the stable parents they never had.
A Real Romance for DeLuca
Andrew’s too handsome, too funny and too decent a guy to only get to play doctor in the O.R. So stat, let’s get him into a lasting relationship that’s at least as sexy and playful as his affairs with Maggie and Sam were. As a matter of fact, Season 14’s finale might have given us a hint about who his next love interest will be. And if we’re right, that it was a clue, it would dovetail nicely with our next wish, which is to see the show…
Flesh Out the Interns
We like the new crew that Season 14 introduced. Now let’s really get to know them — by letting Dahlia’s crush on DeLuca go further than her infatuation with Jackson did, by giving Vik a characteristic besides arrogance, by making Levi more than a recurring punchline… You get the idea.
Around the time that Koracick revealed his poignant backstory to April in Season 14, we went from rolling our eyes at him and wondering how he hadn’t been reported to Grey Sloan’s HR department to kinda loving the guy. So we definitely want the pot-stirrer to make regular appearances in Season 15. If nothing else, it’s fun to watch Richard’s head explode anytime Tom alludes to his past with Catherine!
