Adam Croasdell Once Upon a Time

The man behind Hook’s daddy issues on Once Upon a Time has finally been revealed.

Adam Croasdell, best known for his role on the U.K.’s EastEnders, will play the swashbuckler’s father on an upcoming episode of ABC’s fantasy drama, EW.com reports.

A tight lid is being kept on character details, but executive producers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis revealed at New York Comic-Con that Papa Hook will appear prior to Once‘s winter break in an episode focusing on “an adventure” with Hook and the Evil Queen.

“We’ll see Hook as a little boy,” Kitsis teased, confirming that Hook’s dad will be seen via flashbacks.

Croasdell’s additional TV credits include NCIS, Nikita, Body of Proof and Supernatural.
