The Challenge: Vets And New Threats Trailer Reveals The One Thing TJ Hates More Than Quitters — Watch

Returning vets and new threats are about to collide when The Challenge returns for its 41st season Wednesday, July 30 at 8/7c on MTV. But as seen in the season's new trailer released Tuesday, the path to the end is going to be anything but easy.

In the new clip (watch it in full below), we get a sneak peek at the death-defying stunts and intense elimination battles that are about to take place as rookies from Survivor, Big Brother, Love Island and more all step up to see if they have what it takes to beat the best. And as host TJ Lavin teases, the season will feature "legend and rookie, side by side — is that going to help you or are you gonna get burned?" (Sooo, Fresh Meat III, then?)

Also in the trailer, CT and Turbo have an explosive shouting match, while Derrick screams for help mid-water challenge. Plus, find out what TJ hates more than anything in The Challenge world — even more than quitters!

Reads the season's official description: "Fresh faces and new threats have entered the arena with one goal: upend the old order and take it all. The Vets, driven by legacy and pride, will need to adapt fast. Their established hierarchy is crumbling, and leaning on past alliances and experience is no longer reliable — it's about navigating the ever-shifting landscape of alliances, betrayals and unknown threats. To win, Veterans and New Threats will be forced to work together, unless they're forced to turn on each other. Nothing is guaranteed."

Leading up to the premiere, fans can get an exclusive early look at the season during MTV's The Challenge: Vets and New Threats: Day Zero launch special, which is set to air Wednesday, July 23 at 8/7c.
