Sex Education's Final Season Trailer Teases Loads Of Raunch And Feeling, Including Big Otis/Maeve Reunion

The trailer released Tuesday for Sex Education's final season tell us to "get the tissues ready," and we wouldn't blame you if your mind is already in the gutter.

The Moordale gang's final eight episodes are almost upon us (the binge begins Thursday, Sept. 21 on Netflix), including a series finale that will run for a whopping 83 minutes. Moordale Secondary is now closed, forcing Otis and Eric to face a new frontier — their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College.

Reads the official description: "Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, whilst Eric is praying they won't be losers again. But Cavendish is a culture shock for all the Moordale students — they thought they were progressive, but this new college is another level. There's daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe and a group of kids who are popular for being... kind?! Viv is totally thrown by the college's student-led, non-competitive approach, while Jackson is still struggling to get over Cal. Aimee tries something new by taking an Art A-Level and Adam grapples with whether mainstream education is for him. Over in the U.S., Maeve is living her dream at prestigious Wallace University, being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy. Otis is pining after her, whilst adjusting to not being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus."

The trailer embedded above is equal parts raunch and emotion, filled with growth, laughs and more of Eric's dazzling 'fits. (Five out of five, if you ask us. All of 'em.) We see Jean back in session with a new boss (played by Hannah Gadsby), Adam working on a farm, Aimee's (ummm) artistic prowess and Maeve returning to Moordale for what should be one helluva reunion.

Asa Butterfield leads the cast as Otis Milburn, alongside Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Dua Saleh, Alistair Petrie, Samantha Spiro, Jim Howick and Daniel Ings. Rakhee Thakrar, who plays Moordale Secondary teacher Emily Sands, will briefly appear, despite stating last year that she wouldn't be returning.

Joining the final season are Dan Levy (Schitt's Creek), comedian Gadsby, Thaddea Graham (Doctor Who), Lisa McGrillis (Somewhere Boy), Marie Reuther (Kamikaze), actress and model Jodie Turner Smith, comedian Eshaan Akbar and newcomers Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James, Reda Elazouar, Bella Maclean and Imani Yahshua.

Exiting costars include Patricia Allison (aka Ola), Tanya Reynolds (Lily) and Bridgerton breakout Simone Ashley (Olivia).
