Until ABC’s Wipeout is ready to stage an all-celebrity edition — and believe me, the show does want to — a standing invitation has been issued to Modern Family funnyman Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who last summer lobbied (via Twitter) to tackle those slippery slopes, perilous platforms and giant red balls.
“I’ll say publicly to Jesse: If he wants to come on the course, he doesn’t need to wait for a celebrity version. He can come as a special guest,” executive producer Matt Kunitz tells TVLine. “We could have a lot of fun with that.”
