The Oval Confirms [Spoiler]'s Fate After Season Premiere Shooting

We hope you didn't lay too many flowers on Bobby's grave after last week's season premiere of The Oval, because (surprise!) he's not actually dead.

Tuesday's episode picked up in the immediate aftermath of Bobby's shooting, with a freaked-out Priscilla still in shock after watching her husband pump him full of bullets. At least we assume she was in shock. That's the only possible excuse for her asking someone who just got shot, "Are you OK?"

Then again, maybe the joke's on us, because he actually is OK. "They were just warning shots — rubber bullets, non-lethal," Bobby explained as he dragged himself over to the bathtub. "Sam knows what he's doing. If he wanted me dead, he would have gone for the kill shot." Whatever you say!

But while Bobby managed to escape death, Simone might not be so lucky. Victoria paid a visit to her captive this week, revealing her sick plan to kill Simone and replace her as Eli's new wife, all in the name of helping Simone "learn not to f–k with a bitch." At least she's making it a teachable moment.

Elsewhere this week, Eli was officially sworn in as president, with Hunter still in a fentanyl-induced coma; Nancy's "doctor" determined that Richard didn't choke her, she's just under the influence of a hallucinogenic flower (duh!); and Jason — sorry, Mike — was further probed by the Rakadushi cult, including one member who suspiciously mentioned that he looks like he could be Jason's brother.

OK, let's talk: Were you also surprised to see Bobby alive and (mostly) well this week? How do you predict Victoria's plan for Simone will pan out? And should we be keeping an eye on Jason's cultish look-alike? Drop a comment with your thoughts on Tuesday's episode of The Oval below.
