Love Is Blind Season 5 Finale Recap: Who Broke Up At The Altar? — Plus, Grade It!

Only two couples made it to the end of Love Is Blind Season 5, which released its finale Friday on Netflix. (The reunion, which won't be live, will stream this Sunday.)

Milton and Lydia, despite a heated argument over dinner, prepared for their impending nuptials along with Izzy and Stacy, who fought over Izzy's decision to wait so long to tell his fiancé about his bad credit.

In a conversation with his groomsmen, Izzy shared that he didn't think his credit score would be "that big of a deal" and that he "wasn't afraid to tell her." Still, he was determined to make it down the aisle. "I'm going up there," he said. "I'm saying yes."

Stacy wasn't so sure about him while speaking with her mom Tracy. She was still hung up on Izzy not being transparent with her, noting that she didn't care about his credit and was concerned about the lack of honesty and trust. Tracy then assured her daughter that she would know what to do at the altar.

During their nuptials, Izzy delivered a heartfelt speech pledging himself to Stacy. She then called him her rock and told him she loved him. But when it was time to say, "I do," she just couldn't go through with it.

"I want to make you happy. I want to give you that reassurance," Stacy said. "And I do want you, and I want to say yes. But I would be doing you and I a disservice right now to say that 'I do' when I feel like there's a lot of things that we need, and more than anything, we need time. We haven't had time. And that's something that I need. So, for me today, I can't. I hope you understand that."

Izzy handled the rejection pretty well in that moment, telling her that he understood. He then declared that loved her and kissed her at the altar, though they didn't get married.

When they were alone together, Stacy made it clear that she still wanted to work on their relationship and that they just needed more time. But Izzy was reluctant to do that, feeling like they were taking steps backwards. He then unloaded during his confessional, bemoaning the fact that she asked for more time.

"It's like she's always trying to find something wrong," he said. "It's like all the outside s—t was just getting to her, and I blocked out everything. Looks, money, drama.  I just focused on her. I was at the gym, and I saw Titanic pop up on the TV, and that's what I picture love being. Just unconditional, doesn't matter. And that's the whole point of this: Does it matter? Does a credit score matter? Does the car I drive matter? Does where I go to f—king dinner matter? None of that matters to me."

His rant then turned to Stacy: "It makes me wonder, 'Why are you 33 [years old] and single and not married?' I'm 29 years old, and I can give you everything that a f—king rich, 45-year-old man that you always go for and always fail with can't give you."

There was a totally different vibe for Lydia and Milton's big day. Lydia got hype with her bridesmaids, absolutely sure about marrying her fiancé. "I have no doubts that he's the one," she said.

Milton, who worked overnight and still looked calm and collected, was mostly sure about his bride. He conceded to being nervous and said that Lydia's greatest strength — her emotions — was also her biggest weakness at times. Laying down the math, he noted that "I don't think 100% exists in anything in the world. You can probably be 99.9%, but 100% is a number that I don't see too often."

Lydia had no hesitation when she said "I do" at the altar. Milton briefly paused — and production added loud heartbeats for dramatic effect — before following suit. After exchanging vows, they become the only couple to marry in Season 5.
