Drag Race Recap: The Rate-A-Queen Results Are In! Plus, Do You Agree With The First Elimination Of Season 16?

And then there were (finally) 13.

Friday's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race brought both halves of Season 16 together for the mother of all challenges: a three-category ball themed around iconic nursery rhyme characters and some of history's most legendary moms, plus a menswear-only sewing portion just to make the girls sweat — a lot.

But first, drama! Not only did Mama Ru reveal the results of the Rate-A-Queen votes from the first two episodes, but she also announced that the queens would be rating each other one more time. There weren't too many surprises in the envelope, but Megami was admittedly "emotional" upon learning that she was ranked dead last in her group.

On the runway, we're happy to report that (most of) the queens turned it out, unveiling some truly inspired looks. Our personal favorites included Sapphira Cristál's elaborate "Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater" ensemble, Q's stunning "Man in the Moon" head piece and Xunami Muse's sickening "Humpty Dumpty" Ru-veal.

Following the final round of Rate-A-Queen (good riddance I say!), the top three queens were revealed: Nymphia Wind, Q and Sapphira, with Nymphia ultimately winning once the judges' critiques had been factored in.

On the other end of the spectrum, the queens placed Geneva Karr, Hershii LiqCour-Jeté and Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige in the bottom this week, though Mhi'ya was mercifully spared from having to lip sync. Given that this was Season 16's first official lip syncing for one's life, whereas the previous battles were for immunity, we had lofty expectations... and they were not met. Neither Geneva nor Hershii blew us away in their face-off to Ava Max's "Maybe You're the Problem" (a bop!), and we wouldn't have cared if Ru sent them both packing just for giggles.

But a double sashay was not to be. When the music finally stopped, the first queen eliminated from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 16 was... Hershii LiqCour-Jeté!

Do you agree with the season's first elimination? And are you also relieved to be done with this Rate-A-Queen nonsense? Weigh in via our poll below, then drop a comment with more of your thoughts.
