Don’t get us wrong, we’re still excited to see #Tarlos walk down the aisle next week, but after Tuesday’s episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star, we’re worried about what else the finale may hold.
Let’s start with Wyatt, who’s currently undergoing spinal surgery after a biking accident left hm with brain swelling and multiple broken vertebrae. Tommy was the one to deliver the bad news to Judd, which is sure to put their squabble from earlier into perspective.
Prior to this tragic turn of events, the 126 became divided (firefighters vs. paramedics) over a disagreement Judd and Tommy had on a call, for which he called in HR to discipline her. The duo’s drama then spread to their significant others, resulting in a disastrous double date that ended with Judd, Tommy, Trevor and Grace all getting kicked out of a fancy restaurant for fighting. (Hey, at least their appetizers are on the house.)
Meanwhile, Owen had some good news for a very worried TK: He tested negative for the Huntington’s gene, which means TK is also in the clear. Unfortunately, we only got to revel in this relief for about two seconds before the show went full Lone Star on us.
Following a full episode of brotherly bonding, Robert told Owen that he intends to bring his wife and kids to the #TarlosWedding so everyone can finally meet. (Yay!) But he also said he intends to stay in Texas after his family returns home, and he requested that Owen help him die. (Not yay. Not yay at all.)
OK, let’s get our thoughts out ahead of next week’s season finale: What will Owen tell his poor brother? Is Wyatt’s career as a firefighter already over, if he even survives? And whose side are you on in the great Tommy vs. Judd throwdown of 2023? Whatever’s on your mind, drop it in a comment below.
I don’t know the rules behind these things and do understand that this is just TV, but would a paramedic be allowed to have incredibly long braids like Tommy’s been wearing recently? Isn’t that a big safety issue? It’s been distracting me for a few episodes now.
I wondered about the Braids too. A Safety Violation for Sure?
Regardless if her hair are in BRAIDS or not , her hair should be pulled back as a paramedic.
Riiiiiiiiight, the BRAIDS are distracting 🤔🤨🤦♀️
Hair can’t be sterilised – that’s why it’s always shaved for surgeries or in a net. Plus those long braids are a hazard to the wearer AND any patients she might treat – they can get caught in things. I think it was just done to make Tommy more glamourous, which is silly – she is already.
As an EMT myself… I’ve never heard that before. Braids? Are distracting? Lol. You can have braids. Hair glean get anywhere, even tied back. Hair has nothing to do with sterilization…
As someone who has very long hair, I’m glad you came forward as an EMT. How dare people decide to dictate what is proper for an occupation and a POC. BTW, I had to wear my hair up while working in an restaurant. People with short hair didn’t. There was more short hairs everywhere than my long hair.
It doesn’t even matter if it’s proper for the occupation – this is a freaking TV show, and she looks freaking gorgeous! And as you said, one of the male paramedics with short hair is a lot likelier to drop a hair on a patient than she is.
Please forgive me – I’m sure you have had excellent training & I admire y’all for doing what you do. But once when I had to have stitches on a gash on my arm I asked the doctor why it needed to be shaved first. He replied that hair cannot be sterilised so it has to be removed. My veterinarian told me the same thing – that hair or fur can’t be sterilised. With all due respect, I must take their word over yours and stand by what I said earlier.
I KNEW Owen would test negative for Huntington’s Chorea! When TK was agonising over the possibility with Carlos I wanted to jump through the TV & tell him, “Dude! They can’t kill him or you off!” A real no-brainer.
I got a kick out of the Tommy vs. Judd scenes, especially when they got so loud in the hoity-toity restaurant they got kicked out. And the firehouse vs. the EMTs battle – hilarious.
I think Wyatt will pull through, & the death they’ve predicted will most likely be Owen’s brother. I don’t think Owen will need to help him – he’ll pass on his own. Huntington’s chorea doesn’t progress that fast, but this is television, not reality.
I love it !!! You broke it all the way down 🥰
The argument in the restaurant was funny. When they finally got kicked out, I howled when Grace said, “Get your ass up, Tommy!” And the fight between fire and rescue was hilarious, as well. I hope Wyatt is okay – I like him a lot, and especially Judd/Grace and him. The storyline with Owen’s brother was quite a shock. Can’t wait to see #TARLOS say their, “I do’s.”
I know right 🤣🤣🤣
This show continues to knock it out of the park. An incredibly talented cast. The dinner table scene at the restaurant highlighted all of the great talent.
I know I’ve been reading too much fanfic, but what if the tragedy is something happens to Enzo and TK and Carlos end up with custody of Jonah? That way we’d have to deal with TK losing another parent figure and the two of them having to deal with Carlos is reluctance to being a father.
I’ve been looking for hours and it seems like I’m the only person wondering: was axing that man’s arm off legal/ethical since it was an emergency situation? Field amputations I understand but I was not expecting Judd to go all hash slinging slasher on that man’s arm. 😳 the way Judd and Tommy looked at each other after they put him on the stretcher makes me wonder. But then again if there was a change of ethics or legality in play I don’t think Tommy would have just stepped aside without saying anything, unless she was hoping that might make up for not following Judds I.C orders.
I think Owen will grant Robert’s wish but it’ll be during the honeymoon and he won’t tell TK about it.
I hope Wyatt will be okay!
Tommy’s long hair braids are a fire and medical hazard.
No, they aren’t, because this is a TV show.
Tommy was wrong. Judd tried to talk about it and work it out. I now have no respect for the Tommy character. The writers took it too far and I don’t know if I can totally like Tommy again.
Did anyone ever really believe Wyatt should be a firefighter in the first place? It was absurd.
I love love the show! I have watched from the beginning, I love the commotofity with the actors.
Commotofity? Trump, is that you? You need more coffeve!
I’m on Tommy side she was trying to save a Man’s life that’s why you do the job. Judd as a friend should not have snitch. They could’ve handled that better. I hope Judds son doesn’t die and I hope he still becomes a firefighter
