Ratings: SmackDown Dominates Friday In Demo, Blue Bloods Outdraws Fire Country

In the latest TV ratings, CBS' Blue Bloods was Friday's most-watched program this week, while Fox's SmackDown easily led the night in the demo.

CBS | S.W.A.T. (with 4.9 million total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating), Fire Country (5.1 mil/0.3) and Blue Bloods (5.3 mil/0.3; is Danny's romantic endgame being set up?) all dipped from their season premieres, yet still delivered the night's three biggest audiences.

FOX | Friday Night SmackDown (2.2 mil/0.6) was down just a tick from last week's prelims.

ABC | Shark Tank (3.4 mil/0.3) added some eyeballs while steady in the demo; 20/20 (2.9 mil/0.3) drew one of its larger audiences of the season.

NBC | Dateline (2.2 mil/0.3) drew its smallest audience since Jan. 5, but was steady in the demo.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show's overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives.
