Ratings: World Series On Fox Challenges Monday Night Football For Monday Wins

In the latest TV ratings, Fox's World Series coverage nipped at the heels of ABC's Monday Night Football. Which sporting event will come out on top once the final tallies are... tallied?

ABC | The network's slice of MNF coverage averaged 7 million total viewers and a 1.3 demo rating, down 14% from last week's early numbers.

FOX | World Series coverage averaged 6.5 mil and a 1.2, ticking up from Saturday's Game 2.

CBS | Leading out of Halloween-y Ghosts reruns (that averaged 2.7 mil and a 0.25), Lotería Loca (1.1 mil/0.1) hit and matched series lows — and now shall disappear from the schedule.

NBC | The Voice (6.2 mil/0.5, read recap) was down a tick in the demo week-to-week, while The Irrational (3.5 mil/0.3, read recap/get scoop) was steady.

THE CW | Leading out of a Penn & Teller: Fool Us rerun (330K/0.1), Friday-bound FBoy Island's final Monday outing (185K/0.0) added a veritable handful of eyeballs.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show's overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives.
