Ratings: CMA Awards Dip But Still Dominate Wednesday
In the latest TV ratings, ABC's broadcast of the CMA Awards averaged 6.8 million total viewers and a 0.9 demo rating, down a scooch from last year's numbers but still good enough to lead Wednesday in the demo. (Is Wynonna Judd OK?)
Over on NBC, the latest GOP presidential debate — which a preponderance of you say Nikki Haley "won" — averaged 6.9 mil and a 0.7.
Facing stiffer competition from both ABC and NBC this week....
CBS' Survivor (4.5 mil/0.7, read recap) was steady, The Amazing Race (2.6 mil/0.4) rose in the demo.
Back from a postseason baseball break, The Masked Singer (3.2 mil/0.4, get latest clues and reveals) and Snake Oil (1.4 mil/0.2) were both down a tick.
The CW's Sullivan's Crossing (412K/0.1) dropped a handful of eyeballs, while The Spencer Sisters (327K/0.0) was steady.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show's overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives.
