Adolescence Makes Nielsen Top 10 Debut At No. 2, The Wheel Of Time Returns To Chart
Netflix's Adolescence debuted at No. 2 on Nielsen's U.S. ranking of streaming originals for the week of March 10, with 907 million minutes viewed across four hour-long episodes.
Nielsen notes that about 58% of Adolescence viewers were adults 35-64, and Hispanic viewers accounted for 29% of the audience.
Prime Video's Reacher again topped the originals chart with north of a billion minutes viewed (1.31 bil, to be specific) across 22 available episodes. Paramount+'s 1923 landed at No. 3 with 833 million minutes viewed/12 available episodes, followed by Netflix's Love Is Blind (749 million minutes/110 episodes) and Netflix's Beauty in Black (733 million minutes/16 episodes).
Rounding out the Top 10 originals for the week of March 10 were Netflix's Running Point (652 million minutes viewed), Prime Video's Invincible (587 million minutes), Apple TV+'s Severance (586 million minutes), Prime Video's The Wheel of Time (534 million minutes) and Netflix's Temptation Island (464 million minutes)
Over on Nielsen's overall ranking (which included movies and library titles), Disney+'s 100-minute Moana 2 dominated with just shy of 2 billion minutes viewed, followed by Reacher and Netflix's 125-minute The Electric State movie (1.18 billion minutes).
