One Piece Tops Nielsen Streaming Ranking, Wheel Of Time Returns To Chart, Suits Ties A New Record
One Piece landed in the No. 1 spot on Nielsen's latest U.S. ranking of streaming originals.
For the week of Aug. 28, the Netflix adaptation amassed 1.3 billion minutes viewed across eight episodes. Last week's champ, Netflix's Who Is Erin Carter?, dipped to second with 1 billion minutes viewed/seven episodes.
Coming in at No. 3 was Netflix's The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On (558 million minutes/20 episodes), followed by the Season 2 chart debut of Prime Video's The Wheel of Time (515 million minutes/11 available episodes) and Disney+'s Ahsoka (down three spots with 487 million minutes/three available episodes).
Rounding out the Top 10 originals for the week of Aug. 28 were Hulu's Only Murders in the Building (460 million minutes viewed/25 available episodes), Netflix's Ragnarok (444 million minutes/18 episodes), The Lincoln Lawyer (402 million minutes/20 episodes) and Live to 100 (366 million minutes/four episodes), and, with the release of its season finale, the chart debut of Paramount+'s Special Ops: Lioness (363 million minutes/eight episodes).
Meanwhile on Nielsen's Top 10 overall chart (which includes movies, acquired titles and such), Suits' 11th week in the No. 1 spot tied a record previously held only by Netflix's Ozark — though Suits pulled it off in consecutive weeks vs. over multiple seasons!
