Ratings: NFL Draft, Sheldon Lead Thursday; Todd Holds Steady After Cancellation

In the latest TV ratings, CBS' Young Sheldon was Thursday's most watched program, while ABC's coverage of the NFL Draft (Round 1) dominated in the coveted-and-delicious 18-49 demo.

CBS | Young Sheldon (with 6.9 million total viewers and a 0.4 rating) was down a tick in both measures. Ghosts (6.1 mil/0.5) and the recently cancelled So Help Me Todd (4.5 mil/0.3) were steady, while Elsbeth (4.3 mil/0.2) dipped in the demo.

ABC | NFL Draft coverage averaged 4.5 mil and a 1.1, up year-over-year.

FOX | Next Level Chef (1.8 mil/0.3) and Farmer Wants a Wife (1.8 mil/0.2) both dipped.

THE CW | Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker (342K) and Lovers and Liars (131K) both lost viewers.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in TVLine's daily-ish ratings column do NOT reflect a television program's overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless specifically denoted in bold as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives.
