Ratings: Sunday Night Football Down 24% With Bills/Giants Match-Up
In the latest TV ratings, NBC Sunday Night Football's broadcast of the Bills-Giants game averaged 14.1 million total viewers and a 3.8 demo rating — dominating the night, of course, though down sharply (24% and 21%) from last week's early numbers for the Cowboys-49ers match-up.
Over on Fox, ALCS coverage averaged 5.9 mil and a 1.4.
Opposite so much sports, CBS' 60 Minutes (7.2 mil/0.5), a double dose of Yellowstone (averaging 4.2 mil/0.2) and Big Brother (2.3 mil/0.3) were all down a bit.
ABC's AFV (2.9 mil/0.3) lost viewers but was steady in the demo.... The CW's The Chosen (470K) added eyeballs.

The Live+Same Day numbers reported in our ratings column do not reflect a show's overall performance, given the increased use of delayed playback via DVR and streaming platforms, plus out-of-home viewing. These numbers (Nielsen fast nationals, unless denoted as finals) instead aim to simply illustrate trends or superlatives.
