Fire Country Sneak Peek: Is Newly Engaged Gabriela Truly 'Happy'? (Exclusive)

A lot has changed in Edgewater while he was in the hoosegow, Bode observes in TVLine's exclusive sneak peek from this Friday's episode of CBS' Fire Country.

As the Season 2 premiere came to a close, Bode (played by series co-creator Max Thieriot) — after securing a confession/exoneration from drug peddler Sleeper — was released from prison and returned to the Three Rock firefighting camp. Alas, his reunion with onetime flame Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila) did not go as anyone could have expected, seeing as Bode first glimpsed her skipping into Three Rock captain Eve's office to sing that she and Diego (Rafael de la Fuente) are now engaged!

In the sneak peek above, Bode comes clean about the many letters that Gaby had sent him in prison. Did he in fact do the right thing for Gabriela, by ignoring them? Since she now is (allegedly) perfectly "happy" with fiancé Diego? Press play above and judge Gaby's face for yourself!

Elsewhere in the second episode of Season 2, which is titled "Like Breaking Again," was directed by cast member Kevin Alejandro and airs Friday at 9/8c: While breaking up a bonfire party, the Station 42 crew is called to complete a dangerous and highly complex cave rescue.
