When Calls The Heart Season 13 Starts Production — When Will It Premiere?
It won't be long before When Calls the Heart Season 13 premieres on Hallmark Channel.
Series star/executive producer Erin Krakow (aka Elizabeth Thornton née Thatcher) marked the start of production on Instagram Wednesday, with a video that shows her hand-in-hand with cast members Hyland Goodrich (Jack Thornton Jr.), Jaeda Lily Miller (Allie Parks) and Kevin McGarry (Nathan Grant).
"We got homesick," she wrote, punctuating her caption with a winky face emoji. "When Calls the Heart is back in action filming Season 13!"
McGarry was among the first to comment, writing: "Guess who's back.......back again!"
When Calls the Heart was renewed for Season 13 on March 23. Though an exact premiere date has not yet been shared, Hallmark Channel previously confirmed a 2026 release. TVLine will update this page once a precise date and trailer are revealed.
"Hearties are far more than a fan-base — they are a connected community, as loyal and supportive as the characters of Hope Valley," Hallmark Media SVP of Programming Samantha DiPippo said of the latest renewal. "It is an honor to tell stories of hope, resilience, humor and romance that continue to resonate with millions of viewers for twelve seasons and beyond."
The series' return to production comes less than two weeks after Krakow wed WCTH co-star Ben Rosenbaum, who since Season 1 has played Hope Valley's ever-handy Mike Hickam. You can see their wedding photos here.
