John Krasinski will begin his fourth and final mission as Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan on Friday, June 30 — just six months after Prime Video released the action drama’s third season.
Two episodes will drop each week, through July 14.
In Season 4, Jack Ryan (played by Krasinski) is on his most dangerous mission yet: facing an enemy both foreign and domestic. Now serving as the CIA Acting Deputy Director, Jack is tasked with unearthing internal corruption, and in doing so, he uncovers a series of suspicious black ops that could expose the vulnerability of the country.
As Jack and the team investigate how deep the corruption runs, he discovers a far-worse reality — the convergence of a drug cartel with a terrorist organization — ultimately revealing a conspiracy much closer to home, and testing Ryan’s belief in the system he has always fought to protect.
The Season 4 cast also includes Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Michael Kelly as Mike November, Betty Gabriel as CIA Acting Director Elizabeth Wright, and Abbie Cornish as Cathy Mueller.
Joining the cast for the farewell run, meanwhile, are Michael Peña (Narcos: Mexico) as Domingo Chavez and Louis Ozawa (Hunters) as Chao Fah.

YAY!! Can’t wait. Sorry this will be the last season as I have truly enjoyed every episode of this show and love John Krasinski in the role!!!
6 episodes being burned off 2 a week is pretty weird for a marquee title.
They binge-dropped last season on a Wednesday during Christmas break
So is a fourth season airing so soon after the third. The likely reason in both cases? Despite the show’s pedigree, it’s not really a marquee title, or at least not for Amazon circa 2023 and its content strategy going forward. Tom Clancy has an extremely deep bench of usable IP, but instead of delving further into the Clancy universe – and they could’ve done so without John Krasinski remaining as Ryan – Amazon instead decided to spend lavishly on a wholly new franchise (“Citadel”). The question of whether that strategy is a wise one remains to be seen, but obviously “Citadel” has gotten heavily mixed reviews.
I liked Cathy and was bummed that she wasn’t in season 2. But for whatever reason, I couldn’t get into season 3. The first episode was too much. I may give it another chance next time my son gives me a debilitating cold and I’m laid up (so probably in, like, two weeks).
Nice although I’m sad it is the final season. John Krasinski is MY Jack Ryan. Knowing Wendell Pierce and Mike Kelly are still there adds to my excitement. I’ll probably wait and watch it all at once. Maybe it’s time I started a re-watch.😊
Glad to see Cornish will be back as Cathy. Love Krasinski as Jack. Wish this wasn’t the last season. It’s definitely one of the better adaptations of the character even if they’re not following the books (which is OK with me).
Why? Its the last season, why not release it all at once.
Why are OTT going the network way.
John Krasinski is so good as Jack Ryan. I’ve loved every minute. Maybe they will turn this into a movie franchise?
i just want to know where was Cathy, and why Jack never mentioned for 2 seasons.
sad to see such a quality show go but figured john couldn’t commit to this for much longer. glad cathy coming back and can’t wait to see how it ends. the two episodes a week release is stupid
Agreed – the slow down of episodic releases is the latest stupid craze and it will soon stop. In the meantime maybe the film producers should actually watch the stuff they produce and “see” if they can hear all of what’s said!
Why canceling this terrific show? Krasinski is terrific as jack ryan.
