The Nevers now has a Roku release date, nearly eight weeks after the HBO Max castoff debuted on its other new streaming home, Tubi.
Roku announced on Tuesday that The Roku Channel has launched 14 Warner Bros.-branded linear channels, detailed below. On one of them, the WB TV Watchlist Channel, The Nevers will debut this Saturday, April 8 at 10 am ET, with a marathon of all 12 episodes (including the six that never aired on HBO).
As for future streamings of The Nevers, as is typical with Roku’s linear channels, the scheduling and timing will be constantly evaluated and refreshed.
The Roku Channel can be streamed for free on Roku devices, the Web, iOS and Android devices, Amazon Fire TV and select Samsung TVs — with no subscription required.

Are they ever gonna release it for normal streaming so people can actually watch it?

Lincoln means on demand. Obviously.
I just want a physical release. The first half of the season got a Blu Ray release.
Yes, but I don’t have six hours in a row to watch it on saturday.. would prefer to watch it on my own schedule like most streaming shows.
Never.
Nevers
My hubby is always reluctant to try something new, so I had to
convince him to watch. We both loved it. Great suspense and action.
So….no on demand? At least in the 90s I could set a recording on a VCR so I could watch it on my schedule. Playing it as a livestream only is a pretty big step backwards for both Tubi and now Roku…
So this will likely be broadcast with commercials at 720p in 2.0 sound. Thanks , but never. I bet WB retained the rights to disc media. Maybe one day they will give it a proper BR 4K release.
Linear streaming of scripted programming is a daft idea. How many people are going to commit to a 12-hour marathon of The Nevers — or any other programming, for that matter?
The virtue of streaming is that viewers get to choose when and how regularly they view a particular offering. The recent trend to linear channels on streaming services makes no sense.
The first 6 episodes are still on CRAVE for Canadians, HBO Canada, it hasn’t been removed it.
Whew, did HBO do this show entirely dirty.
Why can’t they just put this up on demand so I can actually watch them when I have time? Both Roku and Tubi are doing it this way and it’s always on either when I’m at work or asleep.
Can someone tell Roku that they double played episode 8 and skipped episode 9 all together? Been waiting two years to see the last six episodes. Thanks for ruining it for me, Roku!
What happened tvline reported that the nevers was being marathoner today went to the channel and Babylon 5 is listed what’s up with that.
My bad just realized I am a week late
** PLEASE ** tell us how you are able to obtain WB Watchlist schedule information 4 days in advance.
