Somebody Somewhere: Sam Braces For Change And An Unknown Future In Season 3 Trailer — Watch
Somebody Somewhere is going out on a high note. In the new trailer released Monday for the HBO comedy's upcoming third and final season, Bridget Everett's Sam is facing a whole lot of mystery as everything around her seems to be changing all at once.
According to the official description for the forthcoming run (which premieres Sunday, Oct. 27 at 10:30/9:30c), "We see growth against all odds." In the new video, Sam embraces her chosen family (and sister Tricia) as she works a new job and worries about her next steps in life. Meanwhile, Joel and Brad get accustomed to their new arrangement when Joel sells his house and moves in with his beau.
The Peabody Award-winning series also stars Jeff Hiller as Joel, Mary Catherine Garrison as Tricia Miller, Tim Bagley as Brad, Murray Hill as Fred Rococo, Jennifer Mudge as Susan, Mercedes White as Tiffani, Meighan Gerachis as Irma and Season 3 newcomer Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Iceland.
Somebody Somewhere is co-created by Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen, who also executive-produce alongside Everett, Carolyn Strauss, Jay Duplass, Mark Duplass, Mel Eslyn and Tyler Romary.
"It has been the greatest dream to bring this world to life, and to do it with HBO," reads a joint statement from Everett, Bos, Thureen and Strauss. "Kansas Prairie-sized love and thanks to Amy, the entire HBO family, and to the most talented and caring cast and crew. The heart of Somebody Somewhere is friendship, and we will always hold dear the friendships on the screen and those forged behind the camera."
