NCIS Sneak Peek: Can Ziva Deal With That ‘One Thing’ and Return to Tony?
When last we saw Ziva David (after she outwitted the terrorist who wished her truly dead), the former NCIS agent told Gibbs, “There’s one more thing to do before I can put this all behind me” and return to Tony and daughter Tali.
And this week, Ziva will look to check that “one thing” off her to-do list — though not alone, as hoped, but with the assistance of someone from NCIS.
In the exclusive sneak peek above from NCIS‘ Christmastime episode, titled “The North Pole” and airing Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 8/7c, Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) has tracked down Ziva (Cote de Pablo) after discovering that “landlady”/cohort Odette involved one of his people, Special Agent Bishop, in the gathering of some intel.
Why didn’t Ziva herself do the dirty work? It sounds like to do so would have subject her to a crowd situation that might trigger the sort of panic attack she suffered during “the worst moment of my life.”

I’m so over Ziva and her “wonderfulness”
This! It would have been bearable is they had just gotten it over with already, but the first 2 episodes really sucked the life out of the first part of the season. I keep thinking about everything we didn’t get in the first half because of all the time and energy put into the Ziva return, and fearful of what this means for the second half. Please just get it over with so we can get back to focusing on characters I am interested in.
What interesting characters? Emily, the no can act actress, poorly written character? Or Wilmer, the “look at me, I am so handsome and wonderful” Not.
Well, in comparison to walking advertisement for hostile work place man child DiNozzo, Torres is a breath of fresh air, and I love Wilmer’s portrayal of him; and at least Emily’s character has grown over the years more so than the Ziva character ever has. So it looks like we see things very differently; I know you won’t change my mind and I doubt I will change yours.

Its cool you gotta give these shirt-heads their time of day. For people who claim to hate the show without SuperZiva they seem to take a lot of their time to start something with those who don’t share their opinions.

At this point why does she keep running to Gibbs for help can’t she fly at superspeeds or shoot lasers out of her ears or something?

Nope, CBS is not going to have “Tony” on a show followed by “Bull.” Too late.
Ziva always has a perfectly logical reason for putting everybody’s life in danger. And if she were truly a “lone wolf” she’d do the dirty work all by herself without involving anyone else. But, this is NCIS, where no matter how stupid and destructive you are, your “family” will still love you. Strangely enough, I still love it too – even though it drives me crazy.
There is a modern term for that its called Intimate Partner Violence.
NCIS was one of my favorite shows but now I think it’s time to put it to bed. I find the show and characters boring even with Ziva. I stopped watching.
