Kim Sae-Ron, Star Of Bloodhounds And Leverage, Dead At 24
Kim Sae-ron, a Korean actress known for her roles in Bloodhounds and Leverage, has died. She was 24.
Kim was found dead at her home in Seoul on Sunday after a friend discovered her body when she missed a scheduled meeting, police told the Yonhap News Agency.
*Update*: According to Seongdong Police in Seoul and Yonhap, Kim's death was ruled a suicide on Monday.
The actress starred as Go Na Byeol on Leverage, the 2019 Korean adaptation of the former TNT drama of the same name. Her other TV credits include Kiss Sixth Sense, Excellent Shaman Ga Doo Shim, Nobody Knows, Glamorous Temptation, To Be Continued, Hai seukool, The Queen's Classroom and Heaven's Garden.
Kim most recently starred as Kim Hyeon-joo in Netflix's Bloodhounds, a 2023 drama following a young boxer and his mother who fall victim to the violent whims of a loan shark.
On the film side, Kim's credits include I am a Dad, The Man From Nowhere, The Neighbors, Manhole and The Villagers.
