Kim Kardashian Joins Ryan Murphy's Upcoming Hulu Legal Drama
Kim Kardashian is re-teaming with Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story) for a new as-yet-untitled legal drama on Hulu. According to our sister site Deadline, the series is being touted as "a high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural."
The reality star-turned-American Horror Story: Delicate actress is lined up to play Los Angeles' most successful divorce lawyer and the owner of an all-female law firm. Brothers & Sisters creator Jon Robin Baitz (aka, the writer behind Murphy's upcoming Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans), is in charge of writing alongside Joe Baken (American Horror Stories).
Hulu has reportedly committed to a sizable straight-to-series order.
While deals are still officially in the works, Murphy, Kardashian and Kris Jenner will all executive-produce. Casting is seeking three other actresses to play Kardashian's glamorous law partners, plus an A-list actor to play her love interest. The series is eyeing a late 2024 production start date for an early 2025 launch.
Although news of Kardashian's AHS casting was met with mixed responses, Kardashian's performance as a cutthroat publicist has been well received by critics and fans alike. The series has been her biggest foray into acting to date.
Delicate's midseason finale aired Oct. 18; Part 2 is currently filming.
