The Walking Dead's Kelley Mack Dead At 33

Kelley Mack, whose TV credits included a recurring stint as Addy on The Walking Dead, has died at age 33 after a battle with cancer.

Mack passed away Saturday in her native Cincinnati after suffering from glioma of the central nervous system (a type of tumor that starts in the brain or spinal cord), her sister Kathryn announced via Mack's Instagram: "It is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley. Such a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go."

The caption added: "Kelley has already come to many of her loved ones in the form of various butterflies... She will be missed by so many to depths that words cannot express."

Mack "would want you all to know how much she loves you," Kathryn concluded. "And as her sister, I want you all to know how brave that tough SOB was, especially when she decided to make the leap to be reunited with God. I'm so f–king proud of her."

Mack played Hilltop Colony survivor Addy on AMC's zombie thriller The Walking Dead, debuting in 2018 midway through Season 9 and appearing in a total of five episodes. (Addy was eventually killed by Alpha and the Whisperers.)

In addition to her work on The Walking Dead, Mack also had roles on 9-1-1, Chicago Med and Schooled. She also appeared in commercials for Dr Pepper, Budweiser and Chick-fil-A, among others, per The Hollywood Reporter.
