Jiggly Caliente, RuPaul's Drag Race Vet, Dead At 44
Jiggly Caliente, a former contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race, has died. She was 44.
The news of Caliente's death was confirmed by her family in a statement posted to her official Instagram account Sunday morning. The cause of death was not shared.
"It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world and cherished by many as Jiggly Caliente," the statement reads.
"A luminous presence in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity," the message continued. "She touched countless lives through her artistry, activism, and the genuine connection she fostered with fans around the world."
Caliente competed on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 4, where she placed eighth. She later returned to compete on Drag Race All Stars Season 6, coming in 12th place. In 2022, she began a three-season stint as the main judge on RuPaul's Drag Race Philippines.
On the scripted side, Caliente recurred as Veronica Ferocity in FX's Pose between 2018 and 2021.
