Jeopardy! Apologizes for Bizarre RuPaul's Drag Race Clue Mishap (Exclusive)

More like "Shantay oy vey," amirite?

Jeopardy! is apologizing for a social media mishap that accidentally produced an unlikely of mashup of RuPaul's Drag Race and the Nazis.

On Thursday, Jeopardy!'s official Instagram account posted a clip from that evening's syndicated broadcast that centered on a RuPaul's Drag Race-themed clue. The only problem: The image spliced into the excerpt was of a clue from the prior day's telecast that revolved around Bedknobs and Broomsticks, the 1971 Disney musical that pitted Angela Lansbury against the Nazis.

Press PLAY above to see the erroneous Instagram post, which was quickly pulled down after users complained, followed by the corrected version that was uploaded to Jeopardy!'s official Facebook account. On the bright side, this error was confined to Jeopardy!'s Instagram feed; it did not make it into Thursday's telecast.

"The clue was posted inadvertently by our social media team," a Jeopardy! spokesperson tells TVLine. "The correct version was posted to Facebook, and the incorrect Instagram version was pulled down immediately. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused."

No word on whether Ru is going to make the game show's social media team lip sync for their life as punishment.
