On April 10, Glee welcomes White Collar hunkmuffin Matt Bomer as the cheekily-monikered Cooper Anderson, the older brother of Darren Criss’ Blaine, and TVLine has an exclusive first look at the siblings in mid-reunion.

As we first reported, the Brothers Anderson are set to perform a mash-up of classics from ’80s supergroup Duran Duran in the episode, which is appropriately titled “Big Brother.”

Oh, sure. Let’s do a poll on ONTD, shall we? Stating facts is not being sexist. If I were to say that most factory workers are male, that would not be sexist, it would be a simple fact. If I were to say that the majority of nurses and pre-school teachers are female, it would not be sexist, it would be a simple fact. The list goes on. Basically, most of the users on that Blarren hate site are girls, and as such your sexism card is – in addition to being overplayed – rather moot.
It’s sexist when you say it in a derogatory manner. You weren’t stating fact. You were making an assumption and atribiting negative attributes to that assumption.
Even if you are correct, and ONTD is mainly women, what the hell does that have to do with anything? What does their gender have to do with their opinions of Darren, other than you using it as a weapon against them, to belittle their opinions?
The ‘pre-pubescent girls’ comment *is* sexist. The fact that the people who hang out at ONTD are a bunch of bitter losers has nothing to do with them being pre-pubescent or female. Bitter losers come in all ages and genders.
Actually, they are kind of right. I am not a Blaine stan but this type of article gets the most comments on ONTD and pratically all of them are pretty hateful.
Indeed, anyone that questions this can just search for ONTD Glee and see that all the articles concerning Blaine are the ones getting the most comments (generally 200+ comments), and they are usually hateful stuff à la “I wish he had been hit by that truck instead of Quinn” etc.
And whenever a new pro-Blaine article is posted there, they all emigrate to the site in which this article is written, and spam the comments section with immature “Blarren” hate. Sigh.

Anyone who makes petty insults about an actor like the kind being discussed above is immature, their age, gender, or whatever else being irrelevant. It’s fine if a character on a show isn’t to your liking, but seriously, some people need to chill and realize it’s just a TV show.
You know, just because you don’t agree with someone’s opinion is no reason to drag out sexist slurs. And AFAIK, the majority of ONTD_Glee’s membership is over the age of 14, so I’m not entirely sure where you’re getting your statistics that they’re “pre-pubescent girls” which you state as a “truth”. Also, if you’re going to state things as hard and fast truths, please try to be specific. After all, most factory workers in the field of textiles are women, not men.

what is “ONTD”
ONTD is a livejournal community filled with sad little people. They spend their lifes hating on Blaine/Darren Criss and singing songs about blackheads and eczema.
First, it’s ONTD_glee and not ONTD. ONTD is a celebrity gossip/snark comm on Livejournal. ONTD_glee, which is what is being slammed here, is a gossip/snark comm about Glee on Livejournal. Yes, there are Blaine/Darren Criss haters on it. There are also haters of pretty much every other character on it as well. But it should be noted that it is a /snark/ community and pretty much everything gets put down about Glee on it. Not just Blaine/Darren or the pairing of Blaine and Kurt.

Why should we care? In my opinion, it’s much better that they wait for an appropriate time to introduce her, rather than having her shoehorned in at the wrong moment entirely. I’d like to see her around graduation toward the end of the season, not unnecessarily pushed into one of the forthcoming tribute episodes, for instance.
lbr, it’s the tribue episodes that are unnecessary, and meeting Santana’s family is necessary to her character journey.
Oh, most definitely. But such is life. The tribute episodes are there, and there’s nothing we can do about that. I’m merely saying that I prefer to wait a little longer for Gloria, than have them shoehorn her into the Saturday Night Fever tribute or the Whitney tribute. Meeting Santana’s mom isn’t necessary per se, and we have already met her grandmother, but I agree that the should follow through on what they have promised. But I find Santana mulling over her future plans with her friends more interesting than doing the whole anti-gay thing once more.
It’s almost a shame I couldn’t care less about this storyline but I’m more pre-occupied with the fact that my favourite character got hit by a truck.

Blaine is just annoying, Quinn is a legitimately awful person. Blaine never tried to have a mother’s kids taken away from her.
But Blaine forced his bf to have sex with him, shut shammed a homeless person by telling him that he sells himself in order to sleep at night, gave the warblers a the setlist, and the list goes on.. And besides.. that’s Quinn’s baby.. she just longs for Beth! least she changed her life back.. But Blaine… Did he even said SORRY to the ones he has hurt? NO.

Blaine did not force Kurt to have sex at all; Kurt was the one who suggested they go back to Blaine’s house and make love.
Blaine did slut-shame Sam, but Sam was not homeless at the time, and Rachel, Finn, and Sam also participated in slut-shaming that same episode. Not that Blaine wasn’t an ass, but hey, he’s human. He didn’t tell Sam he sold himself to sleep at night, he told him that Sam’s “you gotta do what you gotta do” attitude re: sexual dancing was something Sam told himself so he could sleep at night (ie. feel better about being a stripper).
Blaine trusted the Warblers and they betrayed him. Yes, it was a mistake to tell them about the set list (and no one ended up doing MJ anyways; what a surprise), but he didn’t do it on purpose and again, he’s human.

I love Quinn, but Beth is NOT her baby. She gave birth to Beth, but Shelby adopted her and is her lawful and true mother. There’s more to being a mom than popping a baby out. Quinn was clearly in need of real help (like going to see a therapist) when she was trying to steal Beth away. It doesn’t matter why (and she wanted her because she thought Beth was a “perfect thing” she couldn’t screw up); it was unhealthy and wrong.
Blaine hurt Kurt’s feelings in TFT when he dismissed Kurt’s romantic inclinations and suggested they have drunken semi-public sex. The next time they spoke, Blaine apologized. So, yes, he has said sorry to those he has hurt.
And noel? Yes, Quinn did very pointedly thank everyone in the Glee club for supporting her (even though for large chunks of time they didn’t at all) in Michael, when she told them about her Yale acceptance.

Wow I don’t really thing anyone deserves to be hit by a 10 wheeler. I guess that’s just my opinion though… Just because you don’t like somebody doesn’t mean they should die. Yes it’s sad Quinn got hit by a truck but I doubt they’re going to kill her off.
Wow. Are you even aware of the stuff you’re spewing or are you that rude? I like Quinn well enough but she has done a number of horrible things that can’t be ignored. Saying you want a fictional character to be hit by a truck and killed is rather extreme too. Can’t you just say you don’t like him (however silly the reason for doing so is) and that be the end? Constantly voicing your dislike isn’t going to change anything and it’s quite frankly annoying. Blaine has moralistically been a far better person than Quinn. That’s fact. No matter how you try and say Blaine did this or that. However, Quinn has worked through these problems and has tried to become a better person. Both characters have the potential to be good people and they are-Quinn has just taken awhile to get there while Blaine has overall never had issues with it like she has. Blaine is not perfect and he makes mistakes but none of them have been as bad as Quinn’s nor are they worth killing him over.

Um, I’m pretty sure Quinn never cost someone their livelihood because she was lusting after them via flash mob at their place of work. And Blaine never apologized for that. (If you don’t believe Blaine did that, please see Silly Love Songs, Season 2 Episode 12, specifically following the Warblers’ “GAP Attack”.)
Quinn has been emotionally and mentally unstable since her pregnancy and the resulting yoyoing of popularity. She has desperately needed help dealing with it, but was also constantly ignored by the adults. She lashes out in a classic “cry for attention” fashion and instead of getting help, she gets yelled at by her educators while the child she gave up is all but rubbed in her face as a “see? This is why you’re messed up but you’ll never ever have her back because you’re worthless”. The vast majority of her “evil Quinn” plot lines have stemmed from this.
All of Blaine’s major woes happened off screen. His being chased out of his former school to take refuge at Dalton. How his parents handle his being gay. The way the student body of Dalton and McKinley interact with him. He’s just presented as this perfect guy all the time and frankly, as a former member of a secondary group for the show, it’s getting old seeing him. The more storylines Blaine and TGP winners get, the less series regulars get. And by series regulars, yes, I’m referring to everyone who’s not Quinn, Finn, Rachel, or Kurt.
If you can understand the reasons that led Quinn to do some truly horrible things, you can understand the underlying reasons Blaine has made mistakes as well. I love both Quinn and Blaine. I hate that the writers continue to torture Quinn BUT I am also excited for some Blaine development (a long, long time coming).
Blaine is a regular. Deal with it. Do not lump him in with the TGP kids. And he has received very little focus as a character this season so far, so people really need to stop acting like he dominates all the story lines and gets all the attention, because he doesn’t. Yes, he sings, but that’s it, and the songs are never or rarely even about him. Quinn doesn’t sing as often, but she gets stories all the time (even if they’re awful). And characters like Mercedes, Rachel, and Santana not only sing more than Blaine, but they also get more stories/development.
One screw up at the Gap does not a bad person make. Quinn has cheated multiple times, cyber-bullied Rachel, harassed her at school, lied about the father of her child, slapped Rachel across the face, manipulated Mercedes into liking Kurt for her own gain, betrayed her friends, and tried to steal a baby from her mother. I still love her, still think she is a decent person, still see so much potential in her and hate how the writers treat her and dismiss her problems and struggles.
So why can’t you allow that Blaine isn’t the devil just because he’s made a few mistakes?
Blaine has his woes as well. They aren’t as in our faces as the hurts of others, but it’s still canon that he’s been bullied, gay bashed, rejected by his dad. Recently, he was violently assaulted while trying to protect Kurt and needed surgery, almost costing him an eye. And apparently he has an unhappy relationship with his brother, too.
No character deserves blind hatred, and Blaine certainly hasn’t even earned real hatred. He’s a good person who tries to help others and is caring, supportive, and sweet. Yes, he has his bad moments, but that’s what makes him human.
I want Blaine and Quinn to be buds. They can bond over their crappy dads, who probably go to the same country club.

Dear lord, what is wrong with you? If you don’t like Blaine, fine, but it’s really f***ing sad that you hate him so much.
This is Glee. There’s no real suspense to what happened to Quinn. She was thrown in front of a truck to save Finchel. Again! Because the writers needed a way to get themselves out of the desperate teen wedding they wrote without breaking up the mainstay couple. Every time they allow Quinn to grow, they just recon her.
I’m looking forward to character development for my favorite character. Bring it on!
Same here. I cant believe they are doing this Blaine’s Brother stuffi instead of showing the aftermath of Quinn’s rather gruesome accident.
Clearly they will be doing both. Quinn is singing at least two songs in this episode for instance. If you’ve watched Glee at all, you know that they always have 3-5 various plot lines in every episode. In ‘Big Brother’, we’ll have a Finchel storyline, a Quinn aftermath storyline, the Blaine’s brother storyline and the Puck with cougars storyline. Perhaps even more. That’s Glee, period. And if you don’t like it, you’re free to watch another show that has longer, more focused storylines.
It’s Glee. Tasteless storylines abound.
Yeah, Quinn’s probably going to be a wheelchair for an episode and be taught some moral lesson about acceptance by Artie, and then be back to being a cheerleader with extreme mood swings by the next episode.

Now now, no pair of brothers could ever out-rank Sam and Dean. That’s just an incredibly unfair standard to hold anyone to. Nonetheless, they look good! I stopped watching Glee awhile ago, but I’ll definitely be tuning in for this episode.
Personally I’d like to see a cage match between Sam & Dean and these two. I think the SPN boys could use that time to work out some anger and Blaine might need his jaw wired shut so he won’t look so smarmy everday.

I’ve been losing interest in Glee for a while now, but this will definitely have me tuning in. I love MB on White Collar and Blaine is the only reason I occasionally tune in to Glee. So excited! With that said, I’m still going to have to go with Sam and Dean for best brother duo. :)

I will never forget Matt Bomer on anything let alone glee lol nice try though and Sam and Dean, while excessively hot, I just do not love their show enough anymore! I actually got frustrated with supernatural and quit watching this season but glee is still on my radar. So Matt Bomer> Sam, Dean, and throw Castiel in there just to show how hot I think Matt Bomer is!!! lol

He is obviously more classy than you, and so his comment about Glee was related to how impressed he was of how much work they do every week. Why couldn’t this wait for season 4. There’s not enough time for the senior stories which are more interesting. Blaine hasn’t turned out to be an exciting character.
Blaine is my favorite character and I cannot wait to learn more about him. I do want to know more about the senior’s plans but it’s the writer’s fault that we haven’t.
Look at the Shane/Mercedes/Sam triangle that had spotlight and songs in 6 consecutive episodes. The music was good but I didn’t learn a single new thing about seniors Mercedes and Sam.
Santana has had a lot of spotlight but they haven’t said anything about her plans or dreams except that she doesn’t want to go to college in a FEMA trailer!
Quinn/Beth/Shelby/Puck were involved in a long storyline early in the season that advanced no one!

Don’t blame Glee’s crappy writing on Blaine. They’ve had plenty of time to talk about the seniors’ stories/plans for the future and they’ve failed to do that (except Finn/Kurt/Rachel). One episode-long SL for Blaine isn’t going to make a difference in their utter fail. That Puck/Shelby/Beth/Quinn thing was an absolute disaster, as was the election story line (they haven’t even referenced Britt being president since), and don’t get me started on IKAG, Michael, and OMW, horribly offensive and terribly written (even if I liked a lot of the performances in Michael).
There’s one ugly looking brother in that photo, and it’s not the one played by Matt Bomer. Too bad Blaine didn’t get hit by the truck.
